No it's not right, you are absolutely correct. If you are following Christ pray night and day for wisdom. In my case, things were really really bad. I learned I need to trust in Jesus no matter what flaming arrows my husband threw at me. Some spouses deserve to get left. In my case, God brought to my remembrance that I deserve to go to Hell every day for my sin and yet He died JUST to reconcile me to Himself, to give me life and an eternity of loving and worshipping Him. In that humbling context I can forgive anything he's done. The notion that emotional abuse and mistreatment from my husband warrants unforgiveness will make for a simpler life, but I agree with this video, it might be a life apart from Christ (sin) in this area. He uses suffering and persecution to perfect us, that's what the Christian life is all about. I pray wisdom for you, idk your spouse or situation but be willing to die to yourself and follow Him, whether you stay with your husband or God leads you away from him. Repent either way, and give thanks either way
