I worked with a young woman whose parent named her "D'Juana," pronounced as "Didja wanna?" (have s3x) the question her sperm donor asked her mother and she was the result of that particular one-night stand. I knew a young woman whose mother named her "May Belle," thinking her daughter would turn out as pretty as her name---but she most definitely did not, neither physically nor in character. She's not a criminal, but she's not very nice, either. I know of a man named "Vinyl," pronounced as "Vigh-nell" because his mother liked the sound of the word for the plastic material that covers restaurant seating which was where he was conceived. Not entirely weird, but 71 years ago, when my late aunt was pregnant with what they thought was her fourth child, she ended up having twin boys (no ultrasounds back then, of course so total surprise). She had already named the first one James John (not his real name), and in a panic induced by not knowing there would another baby, let alone another boy, she just turned the names around and named the twin John James (also not his real name, of course). There are so many name travesties around, it's nearly impossible to avoid them anymore.

Stop ✋️ just stop trying to be unique and clever with your children's names. They have to live with it their whole lives. Don't do that to them. You know who you are. As an adult, would you like to put it on a resume? Will it get your kid bullied? Just STOP.

Well, no, they don't have to live with their given names their whole lives. Once they reach 18 and are a legal adult, they can go to court and pay to have their name changed. Unfortunately, a lot of pshycological damage will have been done in those intervening 18 years...

Oh hey, I had a “glowing outlet” right before my wall caught on fire…leading to 15 fire trucks on my tiny road, in my tiny town. Yeah…gutted my house, and took close to a year to rebuild…while we lived in our driveway. No one was hurt or worse…so cheers!

Stolen goods, eh? This entire, precisely identical, right down to the very last period, was posted about six months ago by someone else. You didn't even bother to try and add at least a couple of different video clips, just took the entire content and posted it as your own. I'll never sub to this site, not with something like that being done.

As an American I applaud the use of "Yank tanks" for those stupidly large trucks. I just researched the difference between American and Aussie average penis size (Bruce, Snag, Tadger, Tallywhacker, or Tockley). Australia wins! That's why there are fewer Yank Tanks Down Under! Less over compensation... I loved visiting Australia, what a place! What lovely, friendly and funny folk!, What hilarious Podcasts!

If you don’t like your name and you’re American, can you change it? Because I know we can do it here in UK and it can be all done on-line (my friend was changing her name few years ago and told me this). I suppose you must be of legal age to do this.
@jb6712
@jb6712 16 сағат бұрын
Yes, we Americans can change our names, but it does cost quite a bit of money. I don't know how much, being just fine with my name--I was named after my father, but the feminine version of it, and have my mother's middle name, both of which are definitely all right with me (I loved my parents dearly and still them 18+ years after their d3aths).

"The Statue of Liberty walking back to France..." Well, the Brits voted in Two-Tier Keir who is now arresting British citizens for protesting against Islamic terrorists being allowed in, attacking British girls while also trying to eliminate British family farms. Keir could end up being another Spencer Perceval which nobody wants. They need to listen Jeremy Clarkson among others.

Was it the Superhero who all other superheroes bow down to - or apple-repelled Team Antivillain relative of Deacon Frost - behind the “You’re Welcome” one? I swear they need to see the not so angelic or demonic pear-repelled Mad Man in a Box at some point. Sorry, Doctor Fate. Don’t mean to question your mindcrushing capabilities, but… Demons Run When A Good Man Goes To War, as they say. Please don’t imagine a powerful light of pure obedience to the greater good over it, though. Please? Chances of me meeting Nicholas Angel, or Will Gorski as a result are a little minimal, after all; even if more likely than meeting Renee Montoya.
