I agree the black women were the rulers and their power has been taken at the same time you speak as if the black man power has not been taken from them also. We are given the worst jobs for minimum pay. That needs to be spoke on and adressed also. A black man cant provide 100 percent of the income in any home when we are only paid 20 percent of the income it takes to sustain a household. Black men literally have no power. A black woman weild more power and control to get anything done than black men lets be honest. And i love black women but that same stereotype the black man want to go 50/50 on the household is old men tired of hearing it. If you know anything about your gender makeup technically we will always be 50/50 with each other. So i dont think that men are suggesting 50/50 on bills and the household income .They are simply telling you we are a team you cant have the survival of one without the other.

And I did my DNA with Ancestry. And my cousin on my Bahamian side had long done her DNA 8-10 yrs before me. Long story short. It connected us through Nigeria & other African peoples & the Bahamas. These people don't know us & we have different last names. She's my 2nd cousin my mother's first cousin, their parents are siblings. It was long told in my family we have African roots. So not everyone is from this land or indigenous. Now I have another cousin who has 2% Native American DNA. It's a very thin line. Because when we are talking about Hoodoo you can see the African spiritual practices. Like mojo or gris gris bags, Ancestor veneration, the belief of rebirth, healing through herbs.
