Wow. I’m grateful my Dr. supplied me with a retainer to help cover the wound at the top of my mouth and they put a special putty over the graft to protect that area. Still need to be careful of course, but so glad I don’t have exposed wounds in my mouth to contend with.

I just went for the first time in 12 years, and while I had heavy buildup at the lower incisors, I didn't seem to have any issues. Is this normal? I paid 6500€ for pinhole surgery in Austria and lost all my money and have a worse situation than before. I didn't find many comments on KZbin maybe they get deleted. But i searched the Internet and found a thread where many people write they lost thousands of dollars or euros and for nothing. They all regret it. I only found two comments from ppl who said it has slightly improved but hundrets who regret it. I shouldn't have done it, it's one of the biggest regrets of my life and i cry everyday because it's so much worse than before. The dentist said it's a bad result but didn't really care. The surgery itself was very brutal and painful torture. I also found comments from professionals on the Internet who warn people, one doctor had it done on himself and ist warning people not to do it. My Front lower teeth got lose from the surgery and i found a comment from another person who wrote the same. Other ppl write they lost teeth or had nerve damage and the gum looks like before. The pinhole dentist said my teeth might have been lose before but my main dentist doesn't believe it. They were strong. No matter how much you wish to find Help: Stay away from this surgery!

Not everyone's fear is pain. If you don't/can't breathe through your nose because you have a deviated septum and have breathed through your mouth your whole life, getting dental work done is incredibly scary. Because even with the rubber dam they use, you still have to breathe through your mouth to get air in. AND, when you have to open your mouth really wide, it's difficult to breathe. I'm always afraid that I will choke from breathing in the stuff they are using to fill a cavity or cement a crown in my mouth. It has happened and scares me greatly. So please let these doctors know that there are other reasons for being afraid of dental procedures.

I thought dentists recommended leaving the toothpaste on your teeth after brushing. Wouldn’t “irrigating” with an antiseptic rinse out the residual toothpaste leaving you prone to cavities?

I am sure everyone debated back and forth whether to have the staff and or Doctors McCawley in the vedio or not! That would have added that little extra to you wanting us to feel comfortable.
