I was on my front porch one time and sat on my swing during the fall. I noticed something odd, it was “darker” than it should have been and I could hear a large rustling I couldn’t exactly explain. It wasn’t until they actually took flight, so many crows in the tree I didn’t even think the tree should have been bare. There were so many this large tree looked as full as it did in the summer. I felt this “pressure” from all of them taking flight at one single time, leaving that full treee bare once again. It was quite amazing

listen, the time to worry is when there arent any animals in sight and none making any noise, like deafening silence. that will be the sign something real bad is comin to get you. these birds are just chillin and taking a break from flyin, they need rest, too. they aint in a panic, they arent trying to fly away from anything. this would make me feel at ease, like everything is good.

Yeah I had that happen to me a few years ago on the local River where I live. I knew that a big predator was watching me. And so did everything else in the woods. There are cougars where I live so I figured that or the legendary squatch.

Reports from late 1800 talk about how soo many birds would move in such masses that they'd land on trees only to break branches to the point that a huge section of woods would be branchless. imagine that many birds.

50 crows? I see more then that on a nice day out in the field. Just means mother nature is coming back to us. North America forest are coming back and this is a great sight to see. Crows are not mean or bad they are just animals. All life needs to be respected and protected.
