What a fascinating chat - it really goes to show that a lot of these songs get shopped around but they always end up with the right artist in the end.

I have battled this since I was a child too. At 6'1 my weight reached 25st'6, which is ridiculous. I've gone in to shops with specific lists, begging myself not to buy junk, then left the shop with a tenners worth of crap, slagging myself off all the way home often for hours and days after. Richards point about the crisp being powerful is true. Alcoholics and drug abusers can go cold turkey, smokers can get patches and vapes but everyone has to eat, so those with food impulse control issues are at the mercy of marketeers and shop scientists. (There's a reason they sell junk food at the tills.) When you think about it, we force tobacco companies to make their packaging dull to limit their appeal) yet we let Cadbury or Walkers run full blown promotions, with their shiny new colourful packaging and their eye catching new flavours. 25st'6lbs is a crazy weight (the UFC maximum weight for fighters is 265lbs, I was 356lbs. It's absolutely bonkers. BUT... the one thing that has helped me kick it (for now at least), is limiting my carbs to 20g per day and eliminating sugar where ever possible. It's really hard to do this, especially in the first week when you're brain begs you to stop but my weight fell from 25st6, to 17st. The cravings never go away, I see a new flavour of crips or a new spin on chocolate and my brain fixates on it (the new Extra Flaming Hot Dorito's and the new Raspberry Ripple Milky Bar Buttons, are living in my head, rent free but by kicking sugar and carbs to the curb, I've managed (at least for now) to gain the upper hand over my cravings. People think an Apple is healthy but it has as much sugar as a Mars Bar, or that a glass of orange juice is healthy, but it has the same sugar content as a glass of full fat coke. So people with food addictions are not only constantly targeted by the shop scientists and the junk food industry but we're hit just as hard by this world of pervasive lies. "an apple per day"... "Breakfast is the most important meal"... "Everything in moderation"... "There's no such thing as 'good' and 'bad' foods"... You'd never tell an alcoholic to just have one glass of whisky. At this point, I realise I'm ranting and that nobody will ever read all of this... but it's cathartic.

I sat back and watched this woman with her then jealous husband Pete and I could see small signs he was a covert narcissist… always painted himself as the lovely dad, genuine and gentle guy loving and all of that. Yet I read Katie’s books and I remember he would get annoyed and punish her for going out n getting drunk. He was controlling and jealous of her and I do believe he used her from the start. Kate was madly in love and gave him everything and I do believe he always had this anger and jealousy towards her for her looks, fame and success. He set out to destroy her. I have not long watched back on some of their tv series where they were filmed together and Pete definitely cheated on Kate with Jameilia her so called friend. They were both at the villa together and Nicola Pete’s PA had to go to the villa to urge Pete to check on Katie because she was so unwell in the hospital an absolute mess. Jameila and Pete were both standing in the kitchen with a towel wrapped around them and their behaviour was suspicious.. later on watching loose women Kate reveals her ‘friend’ was seeing Pete when she realised after dropping the kids off or picking them up. Poor Kate, she is definitely back to her self but she took a beating from Pete. He dropped her like she was nothing and it absolutely broke her heart. It has taken years for her to heal. She is sassy but she’s vulnerable and Pete set out to make her feel worthless and he was passive aggressive, totally fake and put on a shoe for the world to see. I remember reading his column in one of the magazines and he was saying how his children with Emily were the cutest babies ever or something along those lines. It was done out of spite. He was a spiteful and jealous insecure man and he couldn’t handle Katie being the queen B. He was so distant towards her and made remarks about her and poked fun out of her pretending he was having a bit of banter but I seen how he would rage when Kate would call him out. I hope he gets his Karma because we lost Kate for a long time but as the saying goes you can’t hold a good woman down. I wish Kate all the best. She loves hard, she’s trusting and way too giving. All that karma is bound to come back to her❤

Why any platform with an aim to inspire chooses KP as a guest, pathetic. She’s the absolute worst. Zero accountability. And an absolute hypocrite. The woman is riddled with insecurity but too stupid to join the dots. What impact did her celebrity and influence have on a generation of young women? Young girls today are a by product of celebrities like Katie. Yet in her 40’s and washed up, she chooses to slate young girls. She’s vile.

Nicole is always a joy to listen to during interviews. She always injects a sense of humor and l love her very distinct giggles . Her answers to queries are sincere and encouraging and inspiring. Am happy that she is getting the all the accolades and validation on her artistry, she was phenomenal in Sunset Boulevard and can’t wait to watch it again and hopefully Nicole gets her third award, The Olivier for her mesmerizing performance in SB. ❤️❤️ and thanks for this video .
