How many dumpsters did you save by using a shredder?

@@user-es6jt6eb7tmakes sense. We have a transfer near me that charges by the yard vs tonnage so that’s why i was asking. Cool stuff!

Really impressive power!! These huge tyres are very tough with lots of sterl wire in it. The shredder took it without backing the shredrolls thats incredible.

What a drag, this is not 677000 Newton meter torque as Arjes is advertising !

Water does a better job of keeping dust down when you use it on the debris, not the outside of the machine.

Doesn't look like this shredder is made for tires, but surprised it didn't back up 100x or more.

Why do this? Most insane thing I have ever seen. Grind up the whole house? For what? A big Kobelco ex can do a great job shredding/compacting/packing those boxes... No time consuming, expensive, fuel consuming shredder needed.

Do you see the other houses in the background? It looks like a tropical location that had recent natural damage. They may also be limited on space for disposal.

This may let them burn it for electricity. That is just a guess.

Why would you run this without the magnetic metal separator? At least you’d recoup some of the money spend running the shredder.

Where I'm at, those roll off dumpster are crazy expensive. The shredder pays for itself just in disposal savings.

reduces volume immensely and cuts down on trucking/dumpsters, house debris doesnt always pack down as great as you’d think by just pushing it down with an excavator

How long do the shafts last and how much is replacement?
@stevencolbert2304
@stevencolbert2304 Жыл бұрын
Not sure about lifespan, but the shafts run about $25-28k, but that's complete with bearings, rear plate, etc. From what I've seen in my research, most owners re-tip/hard-face the shafts instead of replacing.

How do you move it around with conveyers on both ends? And how easy is it to change the drum?
@rpmcrushersandscreens4800
@rpmcrushersandscreens4800 2 жыл бұрын
The fines conveyor is radial so you can move it to the side or easily fold it up when you need to move it around. The drum is pretty easy to change with some chains and a large excavator.

Can you make different size material with this?
@rasersedge2004
@rasersedge2004 3 жыл бұрын
Looks like a great machine and powerful enough for the job. Why do you need the conveyor running so fast with stones and debris flying off the sides. In the real world you'd have a belt jam about every 10 minutes running like that and the operator shovelling from around the machine 10 minutes every hour. Would like to see a photo of the shredder drums when this job finished to see how much of that wire needs clearing.
