Thank You!! I’m entering my 3rd and final practiculm this fall semester. I do have a question about to the Gace Middle Grades Exam. Did you have two concentrations and if so which two did you choose? What were some of your studying tips?

Yay! Congrats! And yes my concentrations are ELA & Science & I used 240Tutoring.com to study, which helps you with practice questions most similar to the actual GACE test. It helped tremendously and was definitely worth it!

hii I’m currently expected into the teacher education program at Albany State and I was wondering if you can go In more depth about the practicum classes. I have my first Practicum this fall semester

Congratulations! You’ve probably already entered your semester by now because I’m late 🙃 But your Practicum Course is similar to the 10hr observation hours needed to “observe” real teachers at your assigned schools, but it’s just 60hrs required throughout the semester. And it’s supposed to prepare you for your last semester of college which is student teaching.

Yay!! I LOVED teaching middle school science especially doing hands on labs, so that’s a great choice! But before teaching you will have to go through a teacher preparation program in college & your professors will teach you how to teach science. If you have anymore specific questions I make a separate video on it as well

Picking your battles is soooooo essential! I've been a para educator for 4 years (middle school) and I learned real quick how to let things go. Everytime we get a new teacher, I stress to them the importance of picking your battles. We have to remember that they're children and you waste more energy trying to win a power struggle with them! Building relationships and picking my battles have worked wonders for my classroom management. Great video!

Yes ! This is so true and prevents headaches! 😩 I had to learn the hard way to let things go, but once I got into the rhythm of being “the adult in the classroom” lol it made my life so much easier! Thank you for your advice as well!
