To clarify: there are no tubs, only showers in this home?

What is going on with the runway? Is it out of service? Looks to be in rough shape still.

Great video! Hope everyone down there is ok. Wondering - how bad was flooding on the island after Milton? Did a lot of businesses and homes get flooded around the north of the island near the harbor?

Great video!! This new pass is mere feet from the one that hurricane Charley made in August of 2004. It took about 4 years but the beach repaired itself and now 20 years after Charley, Milton opens it back up.

It amazes everyone that extreme tides and currents cut through Barrier Islands made of sand. Water is natures greatest tool.

I lived there in the early 80's 13 full time residents. The golf carts had 3 wheels. No ferry service just private captains. The interior lots were 15K$. My slip at Pineland marina was 72$ month third down the canal with parking space right in front. Many 10ft+ indigo snakes. Banacal Phill himself brought restaurant supplies in by plane or his old Penn Yan.

I don’t want to tell you how to do your videos but I would edit out that hurricane damaged house that comes up. I live here in Lee county for the past 45 years and that was the most terrifying hurricane and the aftermath is still here

Was there last week of June. Fishing was awesome. Things are still not all the way back from Hurricane Ian but real close. Fourth year for us. Never gets old.

Stayed here two years ago in January. picked a cold week. nice island, not much to do on there except hike unless it is warmer. A couple bars on the island. The bartender had some passive aggressive remarks I didn't appreciate. He was from Boston so go figure. We won't go back to the Island. The host family was nice and took care of us.

Have you ever gone to Caladesi Island State Park? My first visit to Florida the stewardess on the plane who was from Florida told me to go there. Big shells and very pretty, but go early!
