Mossery have a 100% cotton watercolour paper line ! they're 10$ more I think for when you buy the cover+inside, not sure about the refill on its own price. I've never tested it though ! I'm happy we have more and more choices here now ! Few years ago I was jealous of people in Asia and America for having access to so many brands at such nice prices ! but luckily now some european eshop got them too 🤩

@@DrawYourBliss yes it seems to be the only way to get the perfect sketchbook. I haven’t found one with paper and cover that I like and enjoy ones I find aesthetically pleasing so I will just have to start making them 😄 It seems odd to me that you can find affordable good quality art papers and hundreds of stunning affordable notebooks in every colour and design but the two never meet. I appreciate Royal Talens for finally creating affordable sketchbooks in nice colours and different size options but want a refillable watercolour version

@@DrawYourBliss I understand what you mean about thick paper seeming more precious. I think it's because those sketchbooks always have fewer sheets, which increases the pressure to do better with the space you have. The Canson XL mixed media (7x10 inch spiral bound, not the glued pad, which is why I consider it a sketchbook) has 60 sheets, so it's easier to be messy.

@@DrawYourBliss it's funny I adore the color separating effect but I don't like speckles that appears 😅 Yeah it's a game, a visual novel is a type of video game that basically has a lot of talking and reading. The game is called Danganronpa, it's about high school students trying to survive a killing game, and the art style is just so fun and pretty 🥰

Well I feel better but guess what ? I got even sicker end of April 😅 we didn't make any test but it might be covid as my husband got sick too few days after and lost sens of taste ... happily we're better now but it took me a whole month to not be super tired and coughing 24/7 ! I'm so sad to hear you have the same issue and that it lasts even longer !!! This is really a pain in the butt. I really hope you'll feel better fast ! Maybe you could try to associate it to character in a way or another ? for example use the prompt as the background or some cloths designs or stuff like that ! Or simply have fun ! I really feel like when we're used to always draw/paint the same subject we forget how fun it is to create other stuff too !

I totally get it ! It's also what I like about it, subject I would never think of like Modern Building ! I had never drawn any and had no interest about it at all and I still really liked doing it ! But what you can do is make three small "jar" with many little papers of subject you like and ideas you have, materials you have and color scheme you like and use them whenever you don't feel as creative as usual ! I'll totally make myself some 🥰

You're so right ! It's also really nice because you can take them out and easily make color palette for a piece etc ! I really wish I could do that too but pockets for cards are pretty expensive and I have maaaaany colors, especially when you had gouache acrylics markers etc 😅 I spent all my money on art supplies and don't have any left haha but I'll probably do like you in the future !!
