This was the last ride in the Fox era, so I was kind of strapped on this one. And normally the F express often passes the F local to Kings Hwy. but yeah, what happened was there was an incident on the 59 St Line and some R trains got sent on the F line to 63 and then went via the Q.

@@mtaqtrainr46 so about that, I am uploading my F local train run, and then I am uploading my experience at the Indianapolis 500. That’s the reason why we went there. And then we have the return flight to Newark.

I got that with the R143 back in July. Take a look at it.

I’m gonna come back to the J soon but I do have some work to do on 8 Av before the A train shut down takes place between Far Rockaway and Howard Beach

@the_elmeister one question, why is it going to shut down?

I’m not going to the B or the Q trains until the Brighton reconstruction is done. That basically means I will not be going back to the B or Q until at least winter 2025.

@@Ian-g8w3v yes. That’s exactly why I’m not going along the Brighton line until it’s done. That is the exact reason why I did all of my B and Q train runs in July before the renovations started

⁠@@Ian-g8w3v I think there is a good chance that during the A train shutdown from Far Rockaway, I’m gonna be covering New Jersey transit and I might be able to ride the brand new cars and I might be able to ride the arrow iii cars before they retire. And once the A Train shutdown is over, most if not all of the R46 cars are going to be off of the A and C lines and transferred to the N Q and W lines or retired. The ones that are not in good shape are going to be retired and the ones that can still run smoothly they will get transferred to Coney Island yard.

@@Ian-g8w3v and since the ski season is coming very soon starting in November, you can expect me to be on the IRT lines towards the Bronx very frequently because meeting my dad or my friends in the Bronx is the most convenient place to do it. There are possibilities where I could return to let’s say the 1 maybe or the 2 maybe dependent on what is the most convenient place to meet with my father. It could even be on Metro North.

Fyi, the a train service to the Rockaways will be shut down starting January 17, 2025 until May 2025 because the A train was trashed in superstorm sandy 14 years ago.

@ and that’s why I’m doing all of my runs on 8 Av and 6 Av before the shutdown happens. I completed everything on the E and I’m in between my southbound leg to Far Rockaway and 207 with the R46 and then I have two more round trips on the A to do with the R211 and then I have an R211 C train run to do and then 8 Av will all be done before the shut down

More to come! You can expect a lot of IRT stuff coming during the winter time because that’s usually when I go skiing with friends and family and a lot of times it’s convenient to meet my father in the Bronx or in Westchester
