One thing everyone seems to be overlooking about Ydris is that despite his arrogance and god complex, you ever notice how much he does actually acknowlegde and appreciate our character's specialness and helpfulness to him in some quests where we help him out (especially evident in the questline with Isebell when we helped save his show)? Even in most of his mystery fortunes that contain warnings of peril for you, HE makes an effort to help YOU. Especially psychologically. Like bro gives a lot of wise words and helpful advice to empower you as a person, and he's definitely the kind of frienemy that's an overall good sport about loosing to you. THAT's what got me hooked & head over heels more than I had for any character or irl person before him. He may seem arrogant/egotistical, but he acknowledges you, and hints that he understands your value and importance to the world. 😭🥰 Not to mention, he's more complex than most know, and I'm planning on making a thing that talks about him in depth. I haven't played thru ALL the story yet tho, so it will be quite a long time before I do.

I've been playing since 2014 and have 6 accounts and agree with everything in this video. I used to love Dino Valley, and spent SO much time in there. But without the Kalters and their little dailies to collect stuff, I rarely go in there now. And regular horses used to slow down in there because of the cold, and you needed the faster Fjords, etc to get around. I also loved doing Champs, and still have dozens and dozens of ribbons. But they have absolutely RUINED some of the champs now. The pony champ with the ridiculous balloons and 'whooshy' things, and same with Valedale Champ and Fort Pinta. I don't even try them anymore because what used to be a fun experience to be the fastest is now just an exercise in frustration at all the obstacles. The only thing they changed on the champs that I do like is the ability to practice them. If they ever change the Jorvik champ, I'll be so angry! That has always been my fave champ. I still play daily, but spend most of my time buying a few horses when they are on sale and then gathering fireflies, finding hidden satchels and the wild horses, and training them up that way.

okay oddly enough I never spend anything on that game and had over like 50 horses the last time I remember going on there besides the default horse. then again I played the game for h o u r s as a kid doing everything I possibly could in the game and over time just kept getting new horses and foals

I've never really thought about it since I wasn't interested in the wild horses, but sso could've easily done something similar to how we came to own Spirit - find the horse we wanted, build trust and eventually offer them something like we gave the apple to Spirit. I cannot tell you how exciting it was to plan out where to go just to see Spirit back in the day. All they had to do was recreate what they did back then and the only explanation I can give for why they didn't is because they can't be bothered.

Have been playing since 2013 but took a break in 2019 until now. This is so nostalgic and beautiful. After losing all of my Gen1 horses (I logged back in and they were jjust... gone?) this video warms my heart. I loved star stable. But now its just.... yeah :(

I loved this game so much when i was younger, i went back and played it a few months before it got shut down but the world was like completely empty. I moved onto HorseIsle 2 when i was a teenager and it's also a ghost town now 😢

Hello! I just found this channel a few days ago. I know you won't see this comment due to leaving it behind, but I'd just like to comment on my opinion! Not to hurt any feelings or try to be... harsh? But anyways. I'm not a long-time going Star Stable player. I started playing around in 2023 since I never had a computer before. So, I've never experienced what long-time players have. So, I can't really say much about it. I have watched MANY videos on SSO. Seeing how Star Stables looked before in like 2015. (Mostly from Honey Heart C). Star Stables looked very amazing before. I will admit that. But I feel as though the graphics look a bit better now. Has the game gone downhill? Yes. Has the team given up on caring? Yes. The horses look better than they did before. Mostly because I find the Gen 3 horses better since they look more realistic to me 🤷I am sad to see the negativity going around on the game. But I do understand why. Due to being in LOVE with SSO ever since I was younger. Wanting to get the chance to play it, I won't abandon the game. Not sure when I will. Not sure if I ever will. Getting the chance to play a realistic game then the game I used to play; Wild Horse Islands on Roblox. That game I left behind due to the community, change and the developers. Honestly, I'd just like to say, games to change. We all know that. Is it sad to see it change? Yes. Is change sometimes a good thing? Yes. Change can be for the better or worse. The change SSO went through in the game in general, is pretty good to me. I love the new. (Thank you for reading all of this. Sorry for making it so long. Had A LOT to say...) i only became fully aware of sso's toxic team and how bad the game is recently. And let me tell you its changed my whole opinion on the game. I have heard controversies about the game and watched documentaries but what REALLY woke me up was Rattle's videos about sso. I binged watched them today and yesterday and it rlly woke me up.. so dissapointed
