The melody seems to have a lack of variety, so having sections of no notes would help. Also, maybe having the piano play the melody will help. Also maybe a build-up into the melody, as it kind of caught me off guard. I like the chord progression and the bas though, sounds really good. Edit: The melody on the second instrument is a lot better, just a bit quiet. Didn't get there when I wrote this sorry. Maybe doing a less in your face instrument for the first melody will even things out.

@@nicnic745 They may not work since I compose orchestra and Future garage, but they're general enough that they should work ok 😄

Learn a bit of music theory (nothing crazy just some basic stuff like chords and keys and whatnot) and then just keep writing. Things will get better over time. Also, figure out your genre first, I made the mistake of not doing that at first and I confused myself. When you have your genre in mind, study people writing in that style to see what you can learn.

the overall structure of the song is great and the sound choice is really good, however i recommend coming up with a less cheesy melody for whatever that top instrument was.

You have definitely made your own style of music. These filtered, lofi-like drums, and these magic chords. I would change the pluck, but if it’s an artistic decision of yours, it’s cool! The hole track is awesome 👏 keep It u!!

Many said ppl said interesting tips but I think parrallel comp on the sine or the bass linked to the kick wld add a nice movement. A wobbly wobble is always better.

one thing i'd say is try be a bit more creative with the bass line. being a bassist, it's kinda biased that i'd immediately go for that but you should try do more than just the root notes of the chords. and maybe try different voicings for the chords.

I'm not even a bassist but damn I do love me writing some sick ass basslines. It's so important for the groove

try this: record some jazzy chords on a acoustic guitar(if you don't have one use vst) slow it down and put it through a chain of reverb, delay, a some other effects you like. should be fun
