What Ken Kratz wrote is nothing but the State’s point of view. Nothing new. He says that nobody turned over any conviction ? Wrong. A judge did turn Brendan’s over, then 3 judges. The whole panel confirmed to conviction by 4 to 3. Tight score, isn’t it ? The jury of Steven’s trial deliberate for days to finally convict him of first degree murder. You think that it is crystal clear ? Do you that one of the jurors was the father of a member of the MTSO ? And Steven was NOT convicted of mutilation of a corpse while there were forensic evidence of this mutilation. What is the idea ? Do you know that ALL the defense attorneys never listen to Brendan , never read what he wrote ? They worked for YOU, Ken Kratz ! Shame on them . That’s what happens when the prosecutor seeks conviction, has a career agenda, and forget the truth.

I wonder if the shame the family and community feels is interrelated with the Calvinist foredestination belief (as in, everything is pre-ordained by God; everything is God's will, so pushing against it too hard and feeling vengeful is unseemly and against the law of God). It otherwise makes zero sense. (Atheist here, but I am aware of other people's practices.)

Saying that Maury Terry lost all credibility by going on some talk shows known to be sensationalist at the time, would not have caused him to lose credibility, simply because there weren't that many TV shows to possibly get on back then. Everyone understood they covered a wide range of subjects and didn't automatically associate a guest on the show as some kind of crackpot. I think Maury gained a lot more fans when he went on those shows, because people believed him. Maury had to generalize and simplify in some areas of the case, but he was over the target. He also wasn't as "obsessed" with the Son of Sam case as certain people keep trying to say he was. He had moved on to investigating other things.

When Ted Bundy said the past wasn't real regards the interviewer ( Sociopathy 101) The past reflects the Future - The last victim Kimberly Leach very much impacted her family and other victims families and the Survivors who no doubt still think about it today - We had the equivalent in the Yorkshire Ripper who did very similar in the 80s and terrorised the streets of the North of England - most of us were worried about our mum's working late hours and college students at universities - The fact Ted Bundy escaped prison twice to murder more and injured survivors - The fact in court he protested his innocence and applied his law knowledge and even was a psychology student and got his degree to only turn out to be a serial killer and necrophiliac

So this kind of evil behavior exploded in the 1960's. Hmm. I wonder, sort of social occurrences might have happened in the 60's to cause this explosion of evil behavior? THINK ABOUT IT!

OMG! There is so much hate and jealousy in you. You failed to provide any new and strong information. You didn't say anything ........bla bla bla. Because of Tom we have the note, tapes, documents etc. The entire show you are hating on Tom because you did't do research for your book. Where were you from 94 - from the beginning? Now when people asking questions and Captain Low is talking you gonna talk about a chair and full stomach? What? That's it? You are pissed that you failed to do what Tom didbfrom the beggining. As a PI you will limits how far can you go, and off course Tom want profit cause nothing in this world is free. If you were smarter you could've been Tom. This show was only comercial for you and you book, and you hate the fact that Tom have a fanbase. Talking online for somebody how he live his life and what he ate. Now I see what you are and how smart you....... Wow, wow, wow

It was Dennis Davern, the so called ''young'' captain who chose to back up Wagner from the beginning, why? for money? or he had no back bone? you cannot back peddle on murder cases. This woman was not there, she is going by what Davern told her. Wasn't Davern trying to pursue a book deal for years? I believe he was persona non grata among the yachting set in that area.

Yes, this trial had people being loyal to a monster. People came up with all kinds of idiotic theories. The evidence was staring them right in the face. If it were their family member, I'm sure their outlook would have been different. This sorry excuse for a human being didn't even associate with his own kind. What was his statement, "I'm not black, I'm OJ". Yet he turned to them after committing two brutal and savage murders. Hopefully God covered the Brown and Goldman families during this very tumultuous time.

I find it odd Louise had to take a bus to her job, so gone early, the grandfather was the owner of a land scape business, the other two sisters had to head to school. So the grandmother had the total care of him most week days everyone had to leave. Could granny have done something to him? They say she was bipolar.

There's actual police files where a private detective out of Seattle was working with Tom while he was supposedly looking for Kurt. The guy set up surveillance on the actual home and Tom called him and told him to stop the surveillance of the home. The guy told police he would never work with Tom again. It's in the actual police files. For all we know Tom may have been involved in all this and he is just trying to cash in on blackmailing Courtney.

Oh my Gosh- such a good book- Fatal Vision. I read it when it came out- I was pretty young but loved true crime- especially after reading In Cold Blood. I followed Anne Rule too - she did such a great job with the Ted Bundy case… I love that you have a strong faith in God too- I got saved right around the time Fatal Vision came out🙏🏻❤️ I’ve been interested in learning more about the criminal mind too. I’ve done my own studies inasmuch as it is possible via internet searches and journals. I’m a psychology major but didn’t get to focus on the criminal mind as much as I did development and disorders, etc. I wish they had had more classes to choose from. I will be reading your book too😘
