Funny you mentioned Laura Fabian because Dimash is a fan of hers and has actually covered several of her songs. Interestingly enough, Laura is actually a fan of Dimash and you can actually catch some performance they've done together on KZbin.

This is absolutely not a budget hotel. Those are about 6000-8000 yen, This is an older mid level hotel. Budget hotels normally do not have restaurants on top floors and bath rooms about half the size of the one you are using.
@JapaneseSnacksandThings
@JapaneseSnacksandThings Ай бұрын
Budget depends on where you’re traveling from- $80.00 a night is a fabulous deal for an American 👍💯😁
@nielsviveen
@nielsviveen Ай бұрын
Ehm, no. Even though my budget allows me to call a Sheraton hotel a budget hotel it does not fit the profile of a budget hotel. A budget hotel is a hotel in a category within a certain price range and with a certain number of amenities and functions. The hotel may be cheap for you, but then it's just a cheap mid-range hotel, not a budget hotel. Last summer, I could book the Kagoshima Sheraton for just under 100 a night with gold status at my chosen travel provider. That does not make it a budget hotel.

Thank you for the detailed information. We appreciate it. BTW: did you have to buy a medical insurance? Thanks much.
@JapaneseSnacksandThings
@JapaneseSnacksandThings Ай бұрын
I always take out an insurance policy for every trip. Usually the way it works is, you would keep your receipts and the insurance company would reimburse you, but check with them directly for confirmation. If you are in the USA Alliance is a good one. On a second note my son had a visit to the doctor at the Haneda Airport and he only paid the equivalent of about $70.00 USD, so he didn’t even file the claim for it. I hope this helps.

I’m not sure I’m understanding your question. If you are trying to convert Yen to Dollars to see the amount a yen today is worth it is .64 cents to our dollar. So spending 8 yen is like equivalent to paying .051 cent in dollars or about 1/2 of a penny. 100 yen in Japan is to them like a dollar store to us. If we bought something from a 100 yen store today we would feel like we only paid .64cents in US dollars

There's a very close affinity between France & Japan. I notice a lot of Japanese-inspired ingredients in Paris. I think it's because they both have super high culinary standards and a certain precision, especially for patisserie.

HI ! Here is where I wanted to bring you all … back to the rabbit hole I fell in earlier this year, Now I believe I am kind of a ¨DQ Dear¨ … DQ calls all his fans ¨My Dear or My Dears¨ … DQ = Dimash Qudaibergen I wanted to share … Dimash Qudaibergen was born in Kazakhstan on may 24th 1994. His father is a Kazakh culture official (and artist as well) and his mother (is or was) an opera singer at the Astana opera … They have 2 younger children who are also musically gifted. Dimash started to attend singing and music schooling at the age of 5yo.. He has a classical formation and was offered a residence at the opera … He refused the honorific job because he wanted to explore different genres and avenues. He started to attend singing competition locally … and you will see why he eventually got to be renown all over Asia … Especially after his first performance of many on the Chinese - Hunan TV singing competition ¨The Singer 2017¨ … I am communicating to you the link to the specific performances of Dimash on that 2017 show. Since I discovered that you are inclined to appreciate music … I am quite sure that if you do not know of this guy … your jaw will drop … On first round of the competition … Dimash gets to sing a composition created through a collaboration by French Michel Berger and Canadian Luc Plamondon … ¨S.O.S. d`un terrien en détresse¨ (you could translate to ¨S.O.S. of an earthling in distress¨) … part of a 1978 Rock Opera production named ¨Starmania¨ … There were several singers of the song through the decades … The first one was Daniel Balavoine followed by Bruno Pelletier in the 1990s and in 2005 Grégory Lemarchal got to take it for another ride which was found on You Tube platform by Dimash in the early 2010. Dimash did not speak French … but he did undertake the composition in it`s original version. And performed it at different singing competition through asia. This is the explanation of the crowd reaction to Dimash presentation on the 1st round of the live performance … I red that the following morning of the first round of the Chinese ¨The Singer 2017¨… Dimash`s fandom grew by the tens of millions. The link is of only the Dimash performances on that competition. You will see some of the other competitors who are in rooms backstage … But I did not provide you with the complete ¨The Singer 2017¨ video which probably last a few hours. I believe the competition lasted close to 10 days. Guys! I hope you will convincingly become part of the huge mass of human beings who are becoming Dimash Qudaibergenov`s fans who he calls ¨My Dears¨. Enjoy the results of lots of hard work, lots of talents mixed with good genetic. Full version with all the performances of DQ on kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6fGfqGflJyXbs0 SOS kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHbdYqR9iJWHZ7M If you want … take a few minutes to have a better idea of the exceptional human being Dimash Qudaibergen is. When he hit The World`s Bests TV show with his talent … you can view all the épisodes of that TV show right before he did this … kzbin.info/www/bejne/boqappR4Zqp3rJI Did you know that Dimash was invited to take part in the U.S. competition World’s Best? He got to the final three before finding out the other two were children. In the Kazakh culture, adults don’t compete with children, they don’t want their dreams crushed. So he sang the prepared song and asked to say a few words through an interpreter. He thanked everyone for giving him the opportunity, but was withdrawing from the contest so the two little ones could go forward. The prize was one million dollars and Dimash had every chance of winning that but he has enormous integrity. He then had to stand there while judges like Ru Paul berated him, saying he knew what he was getting in to. Dimash stood there respectfully but stuck to his principles. It is all on you tube for anyone to see. And this was after he was assured there wouldn't be children competing before he even agreed to participate. They straight up lied to him. Forgot to tell you that Dimash was in New York`s Barclays Center on December 10th 2019. ... was there all by himself. ;o) kzbin.info/www/bejne/g3zJZK1sa7acf80 As I was saying ... Dimash Qudaibergen at New York`s Barclays Center on December 10th 2019 All By Himself ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6GmZH-riamUfbM
