You're amazing! I have looked and looked and looked all over the internet for a demonstration of a 6 colored sonobe icosahedron, but couldn't find anything! There's a guide in a book I found, but it just had, like, a wire frame depiction of the icosahedron, and I couldn't make sense of it enough to put it together. Thank you so much for giving such a clear demo of how to put this together!

Fastest to solve all 3 puzzles (in the order given) wins ^^ I think the round was finished in 8-10 minutes. These were the playoffs for the 3 people that scored the most points in the number placement rounds. They'd solve these on big easels. Once someone thinks they're finished with a puzzle, they'd step behind the easel for 30 seconds and a referee checks the puzzle. If the solution is correct, they'd flip the page over and move on to the next puzzle, if not they have to try to fix the error and then get another 30-second check.

Oh look, it's my kakuro :D nice solve, i think the only thing that could have sped up things a little bit was the 6 in R3, because a 7 there would break the 79 pair in the 24 clue. The puzzle is really tough, especially for a competition, and we were not sure whether we should include it. We did in the end, but I also added three redundant clues to make it a tiny bit less brutal: You can delete the 14 in R4, the 29 in R7 and the 16 in R8 to get the original version ;)

Another puzzle channel! Welcome. I've not seen this variant before. Cool beans, nice solve... it's hard to follow your solve at times with vague locations and no mouse cursor visible. Try using box 1, box 2, etc, or row and column numbers in your descriptions for better clarity. Anyway, nice job and I'll be watching for more puzzles.

Thank you for the advice! I'll try to keep that in mind for the future, and I'll increase my cursor size too for videos so it's more visible.

Nice video. I remember this puzzle in the round, I think I broke it within the competition lol Slight clarification: the WPC and the WPF Puzzle Grand Prix are two separate events. One is not a qualifier for the other :) the only component of the GP that happens during WPC week is a playoff of the top 10 from the online rounds.
