The statement of "you're beautiful" wasn't that clear because according James Blunt himself the song is about stalking your ex in the underground while being high

The script for the movie Back To The Future was rejected more than 40 times!! With comments like ' Movies about time travel don't make any money'. It made hundreds of millions in profits. lol

I loved this song! And your analysis on this is amazing, I never thought much into how the songwriters have done all these things to make the lyrics so perfect, so it was interesting to learn about! Just wanted to point out though, that the chords in the verse is a bit different to Stand by Me. The reason for this is there is a quick Ab Minor chord between the C#m and A major chord. Great video, loved watching this!

The only thing I struggled with Adele’s lyrics was - “never knew, never knew” “never true, never true” but then “always win, always win”? She could have said the same thing and kept the rhyme scheme intact with “never lose, never lose” I THINK I IMPROVED AN ADELE SONG ! ! ! 😤😤😤

I just discovered your channel! I love the process that you use and more importantly, the HUMILITY you bring to it by recognizing your own flaws, finding the real joy in the Song and not just trying to dazzle us with your musical prowess. Thank you!

Martin, just dropped in on your work. Wondeful stuff. Thanks. Ironically the next video I watched was True Love Waits - Thom Yorke playing it acoustic live (on You Tube)......heartbreaking song for many reasons and it occurred to me that there is not one shred of hope in it at all!! I think the title is a misnomer actually. In fairness, though, it's never going to be played on any radio station. Simple song with one genius chord change that shoves the melacholy level up a couple of notches. Cheers.

Use real details that actually occurred in real life in my lyrics. This will help me say what i actually want to say. Moving forward, i will take note of experiences that can go into a song for relatability and authenticity.
