Number one best best tip for new or lower skill players is learning how to quickly loot, and what to prioritize when looting. All the movement and other bs is all extra stuff, if you can’t loot that movement does nothing. Their are straight up KZbinrs that really aren’t all that good when it comes to movement and other skills but are just really good at the core mechanics like looting and positioning, and as a result they play really well. You are never gonna win a 3rd party against any decent players if the fight starts with you in a death box. Prioritize meds, ammo, and mags(if you don’t have a decent one already, don’t need to prioritize purp if you have blue just wait till it’s safe). Everything else can be looted after the fact. It’s hard for solo players because your gonna get teammates that are gonna just sit in boxes for 5 minutes looting every single item just to be a free piñata for the 3rd party. But if you start worrying about where enemies are instead of, “what’s in that box”. I guarantee you you’ll have a much better time against third parties. The next biggest tip would be when to disengage. if your getting third partied during a fight, not after one ended. just back up, odds are the other team will fight than you get to third party. This is especially important if you aren’t on a movement legend. I play bang so I don’t mind pushing in, and out of fights because it’s hard to catch me lacking. However the amount of goddamn lifelines and other legends I’ve seen with no business being on the frontline doing that exact thing is crazy to me. Like just play wraith my guy, that’s what she’s for 😂. Apex is a fast game, but it’s also a very slow game if your playing it right. It comes in waves and you gotta know when you need to be aggressive and when you need to be a lil more passive it’s that simple. Although it’s 200x harder to do these things with randoms but good luck 🍀👍 😂.
