Yes friends ford focus went two days ago . Wet belt less than 70,000. Killed the turbo as well. Now sitting in a garage

they dont work, they swell the belt irrespective of what oil is used, they cause the belt to degrade, we dont want them. ford is ditching them for their ecoboom engine that had major problems destroying the engine because of this. go away and stop talking about belt-in-oil. They say "lifetime of the engine" but "lifetime" means how long the belt will last. This is an utter scam by belt / engine manufacturers

This is the dumbest engineering in the history of the automobile. Just more maintenance costs for consumers before the car reaches 100k miles. I'm considering buying a restored 1970 4x4 and owning it for the remainder of my life. These new cars are built like crap and you need mechanics to do everything but oil changes.

save 2% fuel but causes claustrophobic failures in 1% of engine ? Pretty good tradeoff . I am sure the consumer will love it in their cars so will the Workshop operators

My comment is more or less the same. Great to see a video, should say so on the packaging, that there is a video, maybe. HUH? . So hard to believe that the "new" tensioner is a replacement for the "old" one. Anyhow I suppose a thankyou is in order.

Thank you for providing this tutorial. Additionally, what are the "Fatigue Rate" and "Weighted Fatigue Rate"? I am unfamiliar with fatigue being given as a percentage value.

how can we figure out the strength of the width? i want to make my gt4 8 as narrow as possible? this would be for a small (single cylinder) portable generator. 14hp motor and a 6500 watt gen head. thanks for the share by the way! larry
