Why would I spend about $200 for only 60 watt plus the cost of all the tools needed plus the building time??? I can easily just order a 1000 watt solar panel from Walmart for only $75 and have it delivered in less time than it takes to build one???😂

It's amazing how the prices have changed since this video first came out, its cheaper just to buy solar panels these days and get more wattage from them, but this quality costs and is worth considering!!

This panel can put out close to 100 watts kzbin.infoUgkxOqI2yqX0XVrhR2BMJciTWrHJpG8FhJyg when positioned in the appropriate southernly direction, tilted to the optimal angle for your latitude/date, and connected to a higher capacity device than a 500. The built in kickstand angle is a fixed at 50 degrees. Up to 20% more power can be output by selecting the actual date and latitude optimal angle. The 500 will only input 3.5A maximum at 18 volts for 63 watts. Some of the excess power from the panel can be fed into a USB battery bank, charged directly from the panel while also charging a 500. This will allow you to harvest as much as 63 + 15 = 78 watts. If this panel is used to charge a larger device, such as the power station, then its full output potential can be realized.

Well done which is medium rare today with amateurs making videos like pros. However I have always thought when soldering you are to heat the metal of the bind and the solder to touch the metal to create a tight bind or you get a cold joint connecting which will easily break and fall apart when you heat the solder against the iron itself and let it drip as you show. Since the metal you are soldering to is also solder do you heat the whole connection line to get this type of bind after dripping the first run?

If you make all of your drill holes in a strip of wood, all your holes be the same. Just clamp the wood down on predetermined lines on each side. I use clamps that look like wide pliers.
