6s at this time in this video its just a 6s battery but its capable of 8s now that theres a hobbywing in it. and no ive run both the stock and this setup this setup is faster by maybe 5-9mph buuut with that being said its only when there is less weight on the car

That’s wicked I got a 20v lipo battery from a cordless vacum now I know what I’m gonna use it for I got a Silverado power wheels for my kid but kinda slow with stock batterys

If you add too much power to it, you'll need to upgrade the motors and gears at a minimum or they'll get trashed fast. Most of these toys have plastic gears that sheer easily as it is. Haha it's a fun project to upgrade these toys though, the kids never complain either! I'm currently doing this with my sons buggy style power wheels. Easy to find upgrades for that one.

I had the same Jeep for my son and dropped a 12v wheelchair battery with a few hundred Amp hours. It gave it more speed and power but mostly run time, it could run for a few hours between charges. 👍

Just did that with a power wheels jeep hurricane and a power wheels Harley. 20V dewalt batteries and they go like 11 mph!

Not just a fuse add a resistor or voltage regulator of some kind to slow the flow a bit and regulate just how much voltage it's getting wouldn't be impossible

you could place a resistor or something inline w battery i guess but i just ran it. seems fine gets a little warm sometimes i just let it cool down and go again, controller works fine no need to replace
