Hello @thompsonugboke2310. From the clip (at 18:05), an instance/example was shared to buttress this point, that it is quite easy for a someone who is in need/want to compromise at the face of temptation. Although, this is not in any way giving any excuse/justification for anyone to give in to temptation under any circumstance. It was only used in context to emphasize the need to hear God in order not to be shortchanged in any aspect of our lives. For more clarity, you can go through that portion again at duration 18:05.
