Real life is pretty flat. But more detailed.

@@1.11-y1z Real life is anything BUT flat. Try to find a square (cube) room, pretty much anywhere in the real world. They don't make 'em. It's rare we find truly flat surfaces, or 90° angles, unless they are precision machined for a reason. In games, that's the easiest way to make things.
