great post have most of these on vinyl. But these sessions are new to me. Listened like they were played . Considering the recording industry was still in its infancy these tacks are great. thnx.

Ok Super Dudes and Kitty Cats, Jamaica became independent in 1962 and this was playing on the BBC in 1963. It heralded the New Age English, I was a Rolling Stones fan from then till the present 2024.

They were notorious for being a very uneven band..One gig they would all click, but very next gig would be woeful..I suspect in those days they did not rehearse enough..Only when Taylor joined the band did they become a bit more consistant

Very well done, Modsquad. Those very early Stones tracks which I started to hate a longtime ago, probably cause I heard them too often, are now pleasant, more fun with all those small live variations. These guys worked hard. Respect for you and the band.

Material and performance are grat. Source recordings on these are awful, despite efforts to improve, There are many other 'cleaner' sounding copies out there, no offense to those who posted. Better to have these than none.

Recording quality is terrible, actually quite a sad example of the BBC's prestigious abilities. BBC has let down England based on this horrid production. Not the fault of the recording artists. Shame on the BBC.

Good man, you are presumptuous and a tad arrogant to labour under the delusion that your way is the only accurate way. As a musician you ought to know that a song can be played accurately in ANY key, depending on voice, style, interpretation and so. Marsden, himself, played it in different ways in different performances on many occasions. Your way is just one of many ways in which this song may be played.

So much greater that Bill Wyman's bass slipped through and special thanks to Brian on slide to Muddy Waters top 5 Can't be satisfied. Bill has really the sense of rythm in a soft ways.Very special!! Brian is the rythm creator too, half a step fronting and his harp man!!!

For being BBC recordings, they don’t have the best sound quality. The Stones are what makes you want to listen.
