A classic yet deep philosophical line. My favorite part: "You wanna laugh, say I'm insane. don't have the sense to come in from the rain. I know how to keep myself between the drops"

I bought an new release album in 1995 by someone named something like Dillinger or Darranger I think' that sounded like Camel Walk by Southern Culture on the Skids. He had a lyric: I can't even look at ya. Do you know who this is?

The late 1980's after the disbanding of The Stray Cats.
@blebhan82136 жыл бұрын
No, this was from 1986. Brian had his solo thing. Slim Jim and Lee had their own thing with Phantom, Rocker, and Slick. The Stray Cats recorded "Rock Therapy" the same year, and "Blast Off!" in 1989. So they were around all through the 1980's.

When I scored this album, way back when, it was a major disappointment. Upon hearing this track again, I can say in my own humble experience that this song and the rest of the album - including Cochran's Nervous Breakdown - is the worst ever album of songs there ever was. Comparable to rancid cheese. I started losing respect for Brian when this over-produced monstrosity came out.

2 things: The Native American woman is one of the prettiest I've seen, and in the story of the video, Brian didn't reconcile or talk to her at all. It's hinted that they knew each other - kinda sad.
