I remember The Ugly Green Spike. It was just awful. We found we could not connect any more storage to our system so new information could not be added! DOH! The fix was new hardware and new software from a new company. It did not go well. I will tell my view of this some day. Lots of us saw different things. That is exciting about Lexis. we are all correct in what we saw. Great job... Terry, Mert and Keith. I sure enjoyed working with all of you. Jack

SPECTACULAR JOB MERT,,, Lexis-Nexis is like a 50 X 400 meter relay race with 50 or more handoffs. Mert was in on the first two or three. I was much later. Pricing was always on my radar screen. A search unit is an "occurrence of a word in the search term". At that time, the sales reps were often giving the customer credits for out of control search results like 50,000 hits. They would say... "you won't be charged for all those hits. Instead, you will be billed about $20 or $30 for that search result"... this was a major input to "pricing on value per search" that later took over. There is lots more to say about this some day. Large Law Firms also liked "fixed pricing to the entire firm for a year" BUT.... they still wanted a monthly bill showing search costs for each project. They would bill out the search bill we sent them even though they were paying a fixed, discounted price... this was a small profit center for them. But back to Mert.. I enjoyed hearing his stories of the earliest days... just Incredible. He got the ship launched which was the hardest task of all. Great Job Mert. You are a True Pioneer and made a huge contribution to making Lexis a juggernaut. You have more to tell us some time. Jack

Impressive video series Terry - Thank you for taking the time to put this together. My tenure was short in comparison, Joined in 2003. History of that organization is fascinating, and the group of individuals there were some of the smartest I've had the pleasure to work with.

Thanks for putting this together! Great to see Keith and Jack. I joined MDC about a year before Keith. Hunter Grant offered me the position to manage the Technical Sales Support team. Our job was to help our sales reps sell our software and interface with our clients computer devices. Keep in mind that at this point personal computers were not prevalent. It was such a fun place to work with lots of super smart young people. I will always cherish my time there until I took off on a sailboat- now in Asheville NC.

Lovely rendition of a classic tune. Would very much like to know what the Les Paul guitarist was using from neck-pickup to amplifier? Killer tone.

This incredible venue, Centerville's Performing Arts Center, was on our bucket list. We're so thankful that we were included in the 2023 Miami Valley Community Concert Series this year. California Dreamin' 1:15, Nowhere Man 4:01, I'll Be Back 7:05, Dancin' in the Moonlight 9:42, Helplessly Hoping 13:18, Black Water 16:28, Garden Party 21:22, Sail on Sailor 25:12, Elenore 29:03, Desperado 32:22, Rikki Don't Lose that Number 35:48, Find the Cost of Freedom 40:50, Southern Cross 43:00, Long May You Run 48:27, After the Gold Rush 54:05, Just the Way it Is 56:12, Margaritaville 1:01:08, With a Little Help from My Friends 1:06:54, Walk Away Renee 1:09:34, It's Alright 1:13:28, The Letter 1:16:40, What Goes On 1:21:35, Brian Wilson 1:25:09, Feelin' Alright 1:33:40, Sgt.
