I miss the stickers with 3200 Watt "P.M.P.O.". Simply a great idea to raise a number for the customer without regrets and real rates that can be found in the sold product. 3200 Watts! lets take 50 Volts Voltage of the power supply (way too high, but doesn't matter) and create a short circuit on both channels. Results in 64 Amps! I have my doubts the capacitors and the power supply will even come close to it for the shortest time 🙂 But none the less, keep the sticker where it is. It belongs there, just cool 🙂

A sub like that needs a port IMHO. It will only take a couple years of moderate play for it to chew through that foam surround. Hell that surround won't last long even if it was stored in ideal conditions. I tad bit bigger of a box, a port, and rubber surround would have made that thing a champ.

Position of the Voice Coil in the Magnetic field is randomly placed. People giving Thumbs up hardly knows nothing about Electronics or Sound/Audio. Blind followers.

It sound distorted, guess you didn't balance the coil properly.

I'll give a B+ grade for making the enclosure, but glue and staples/nails isnt going to hold a subwoofer cabinet together for very long with any kind of constant use. I won't comment on the rebuilding of the woofer as I don't do that myself, but for the critics thats going to say...."can you do better"... my answer is you bet your ass I can, and have for the last 20+ years.

Is it worth it?! Sourcing the right components, etc. If you had a workshop, and equipment, then yes ! These people do it as semi-professionals. You have to have the right contacts, and materials to cannibalize. Ne vale la pena?! Reperire i componenti giusti ecc. Se avessi un laboratorio, e attrezzature, allora si ! Queste persone lo fanno come semi professionisti. Devi avere i contatti giusti, e e materiali da cannibalizare.

This is NOT a restoration video. You disassembled, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled the unit - no repairs, no replacement of aging components, etc. You are not as good of a technician as your videos claim and your "supporters" tout. For example, the VU meters will no longer read correctly due to the oiling you performed..any decent technician knows this. They are precisely calibrated and adding all that oil negatively impacted their operation (as can be seen at the end of the video when one deflects much more than the other).
