I'm from Australia, so maybe I'm not going to get the fine detail as accurate as those from the U.S.A. I've been watching a large amount of Committee hearings in recent months, and it seems to me that there are a number of areas where the Republican difference from the Democrats are significant enough to invoke one of Senator John Kennedy's overused expressions, namely 'Bigger than Dallas'. With respect to the inflation rate, what I was able to find were statistics that show the 12 month comparison to not be as diabolic as has been claimed. I'm not suggesting that the numbers don't have concerning aspects to them, but not to the extent that some have claimed. I'm also assuming that politics has an important role in determing how they are presented, as they do here in Australia, but it would be far more efficient to have both sides agree on sources, interpretations, along with when those statistics are presented. I'm probably a lone voice in the wilderness, but if there's anything in what I've briefly covered that may warrant further thought, then as the Nike slogan says .... Just Do It.
