As simply as possible...small gas engine to run multiple alternators which charge batteries and or capacitors which drive electric motor to drive the wheels...12hp but 1200ftlbs..weeeeeeeee!

i think as a worker in the adas and av section you could gain or guarantee more safety, when all developers (of intelligent self driving systems or adas) and also the government working more hand in hand to predict safety on the roads. It is not a must, but it could make the process of safety driving faster. Also to reach this goal cars have to communicate and helping each other. So the streets have to get more resocialisation to avoid accidents. When everybody starts to be selfish and rely on the right of path or brake speed limits etc., then there are much more accidents and injuries or maybe death on the road. But it is nice to hear that the basic of intelligent self driving is present.
