Great drawings. Hobby lobby is a terrible company, I am not surprised their sketchbooks suck. Have you heard about them illegally stealing artifacts from undeveloped countries? I think their CEO was involved in some shady stuff.

I have had issues with erasing on watercolor sketchbooks allot and found that "art gum" erasers are wonderful. They powderize, which is really messy, but they are gentle on the paper and really good at erasing. Their only fault is that super tiny details can be hard to get to, because they are designed to wear down quickly. Oh! And your art is very inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

I am with you! I hate the landscape format. I was gifted one and after a year, I’m like 3 pages in. You managed to do some amazing work in yours though. I wonder if the eraser gumming up is just a question of the quality of the paper. I can’t imagine that Hobby Lobby produces the best sketchbooks. Either way, fantastic work!

I´m using a landscape format scetchbook for almost a year now and I´m over it... -.- But I think it´s because it has to many damn pages. The format is actually pretty fitting for what I like to draw. Also: I love your detailed drawings. Especially the animals ^^ Also also: Houdini´s story was pretty funny.

To me I used to love to draw when I was a little kid back when I used to find it fun but since 2024 I don't even draw since I lost interest in drawing. All due to getting in a cyberbullying incident that happen back in 2013 that made that year the worst for me back when some users from a meme site Called know your meme that I never even heard of that site until that incident happen when I even used to own an account on an art sharing site. When I would have share my drawings on devianart when I would have make miss paint drawings and share it on deviantart and even also the times I used to be a big fan to creepypasta's but no longer am since I don't even like creepypasta no more but it was the times someone decide to link me. A link over my drawings being upload on a gallery that is called cringeworthy that ended up having to be locked to prevent people from misusing it By using it to attack people and I ended up being a victim of it! where those users decide to upload my drawings and they even decide to harass me. When I made an account for know your meme just to ask them to stop but only for those people to send such nasty replies to me that cause my anger To gone up! which I know in fact I have anger issues to due getting bullied and harassed in the real world but seeing in fact my same problem make it's way. On to the internet makes it not right for me! since that incident sure was making my anger issues going up! which it was just going way too much for me where The mods have to step in and I find it funny how one of the mods give me a message saying to me that he has no idea if I was being a troll but told me on how. My art was being upload to the cringeworthy gallery that have nothing to do with that gallery which I find it funny how the mod sure was assume I was being a troll When I was not when I just telling those people to stop uploading my drawings on a gallery that have nothing to do with it where I got harass by those people though. But of course the mods ended up locking that gallery to prevent those people from misusing that gallery from attacking people and that's when those people that harass Me and upload my drawings to that gallery made one of my drawings into a meme that I was never proud of since many of those know your meme users use my drawing. By making different versions of it which makes me see it as a meme while they even made a page of it that have only have three images while someone made a different Version of my drawing that is called rake has time to killed people that is called Time to eated Cornn Flaek that was upload 3 years ago! like I find it insane that someone. Made a newer meme picture of my drawing that I don't even like anymore! but of course many of the users that harass me no longer use know your meme anymore since Many of them have move on in life while one of the people that was part of the cringeworthy gallery that I remember that claims to me they weren't being mean to me. They were being honest but yet he doesn't realized they were being mean to me by harassing me over my drawings by posting such nasty replies to me that is still active On know your meme! but damn ever since that incident happen to me I start to see drawing isn't even fun if you don't have good art skills but people like that should know. NOT ANYONE IS BORN TO BE PERFECT! like people have different art skills! like not anyone has the same art skills like it doesn't give them the rights to make fun of people's Drawings which they honestly will make people quit drawing and I sure was one of them! and I wouldn't want to draw ever again since I'm worry that it could happen again. That someone could might make fun of my drawings and even him and other people would harass me since I can see how the internet during the 2010s sure was the times The internet sure was getting very toxic and dangerous to use and even I start to see how the internet is known for having such bad people that can hurt you and I can see in fact. Meme fans are one of the bad people on the internet that can hurt you since they will turn anything into a meme and even on to innocent people's things into a meme and I know in fact I was one of those innocent people that got hurt by it! and sure is why I stop drawing despite I remember in high school a teacher wouldn't stop being stupid by telling me to draw a cookie. Even when I didn't want to since I don't even draw! and I wouldn't even want to draw ever again since I got harass by some users from a meme site like it is just idiotic how the teacher Just wouldn't understand I stop drawing because of an incident that happen to me back in 2013 🙄 but of course I did found different interest in hobbies like stop motion animation. That I find it to be such a fun video art form but that itself can also be hard to do just like drawing and stuff while I don't find any drawing is a fun hobby like I used to because of that Incident that got me hurt.
