My bike is taller and I'm on my tippy toes. What's the best way to pivot in this case?

Start practicing them on a slight incline, as you side-hill. That allows your uphill foot to easily touch the ground. Make turns short at first, then add more rotation as they become easier. Rich Larson's series is gold for this!!! Get after it and have fun!!!

There is lots of runoff creek beads at Carnegie...one of the gnarly ones we call the devil's butt crack. All-time best Hill climb and road jump spot ever. Love carnage, my family has ridden there since the 60s lol before it was a svra park.

Yes! We know the devils buttcrack well, it is far more tame than this one here. The continuation of the crack to the top of the mountain is far more challenging. It has earned the name "trail of tears" over time!! It's in several of our other videos as #3 or sh!t creek!!! The 60's!!! Wow!!! So great! Since the Late 80's for me there.
