Alex, these are the best longsword reproductions I have seen in this price range. I believe that you are about to set a new standard of quality for budget swords, a standard that will force other sword-makers to adapt or lose to you. I’m so impressed, I literally bought one of these while I was watching this video.

Odd question I know but can seordier make that Dark Sister replica bigger? Example add 3 to 4 inches length in the blade and another 2 inches to the handle through the customizations service. I have big hands 😅

How is your manganese steel for cutting?
@Swordier9 күн бұрын
pretty good sounds too subjective, but if you check other cutting video we made, it performed fairly well compare to pattern weld, and more durable.

Those two cuts may be a good example of the differences in cutting with, and without armor. The cut from the armored side did not go so well (I feel certain it would have caused damage to an opponent), but the cut from the unarmored side went much better. Armor changes how we move.

Are the measurements correct? It looks a little short for being 1,30 meters. Please tell me im considering buying it
@Swordier11 күн бұрын
Yes, correct, the blade is 90cm and the grip is 17cm, plus the pommel and crossguard, around 1.2 meters without scabbard.

Nicely made sword. I like the stitched hilt, that it's not just rough, but the workmanship is visible (you can see it on the scabbard too). It's also good that you used such pale, realistic colors like the light brown leather. I like when a sword isn't as strikingly colorful as a rainbow. Increasing the blade width is a good idea, and is important for cutting swords. Congratulations, you're making more and more beautiful swords.

@@Swordier If I order a sword, can I make it look like one that exists with another manufacturer, such as Albion swords?

@@Swordier Are you planning to expand the crossbar and pommel variations? A larger selection would certainly attract the attention of more European buyers.
@csakRomeusz16 күн бұрын
Also, as far as I know, these two parts are always made of stainless steel. Stainless steel is usually too hard for a sword (if I really want to use it). Is it possible to make these parts out of carbon steel? A sword looks less “artificial” if it patinas over time and takes on a duller color. Stainless parts (unfortunately) remain dazzlingly shiny forever.
