From your biggest fan hear in the UK - God speed Greedy! I did not know you had gone until a week ago, and was utterly heartbroken. The Mentals were one of the greatest things to come out of the 80`s! Wish I could jump into a time machine and just stay back there forever and have a few beers with Greedy and the boys! I had the enjoyment and lucky moment to have spent some short time with the guys in albany at one of the wine fests in the mid 2000s and being a 80s teen THAT WAS MY NIRVANA MOMENT, i will never forget it and i have wept for days as being in the USA atm i never even realised he had passed until a week ago :((((((((((((( im broken !

Fabulous guys really captured the whole vibe.....I worked with Andrew Davis at Crown street womens hospital in the mid 70s and I think he knew you guys or lived with you guys so we got the stories and I followed it ever since. Saw Greedy last year at by the C wollongong doing his pot of tea antics'''''looked damn fit and as if he still had 20 years in him....Im the same age and it scared the hell out of me...he was doing stuff I cant do yet Im still alive

Never met the bloke, but certainly top 3 people I'd love to have sat down with and had a beer and yarn about the good days. This tribute clip - how many awesome memories does that bring back... Great nightclubs of the 80's, great bands, great times.. Greedy... A bloke that was always smiling and really having a blast.. He truly fed off the power coming from the crowd.. He enjoyed his job.. Lucky bugger. He also never lost that exclusive "Greedy" voice... Thanks for the memories to Greedy - and the band and his family... they must be hurting more than most. RIP Greedy.
