1/4” makes a nice and fuzzy seam, I’ve found the 1/2” wasn’t enough. Gr8 video, thx for sharing!

I'm glad you all made this video years ago because today I don't even think they teach writing her handwriting cursive writing any kind of writing in school anymore and it's a shame everything is on the computer and people don't even know how to write their names

This two-part locker hooking video does a good job of showing the steps. I plan to buy someone’s kit for my first try, so I don’t have to get creative or hunt down tools while I’m trying to get a feel for I how it works up. I love to knit, so I have tons of acrylic odds and ends. I’d like to complete the latch hook kit I’ve ordered, construct a 7 count plastic canvas project for a handbag or perhaps a disposable dish holder, and make myself a cute ole locker hook rug. I am in the season of canvas arts, sis. Rn, I’m just watching technique videos and ima buy from whoever’s is the best. Amazon got latch hook kits, but not locker hook kits. I bet ima have to wait 3mos on customs outa Mexico or six weeks outa India. Both of em got the most beautiful textiles!

Is sew lush fabric the same or similar to minky? I’ve just bought almost $300 worth of sew lush to make no sew blankets for Xmas gifts and I’m scared that the fabric will fray or the knots will come undone. Once I cut the fabric I can’t return, but so far I’m within the time frame to take it back. What should I do, will I be okay with the sew lush or should I return for fleece? I’m so new at this. Any advice?

Lovely and easy bag. No pattern which is great! I’ve made a few of these already and given a few as gifts. Thanks for the great tutorial. You’re a super teacher. Just an idea, you can skip making the handles by scratch. You can also purchase the straps to use as handles in your local arts/ crafts or sewing store like Joann’s. They have them on a roll where you can have them cut it for you by the yard. That’s usually what I do. Saves me a lot of time and looks like store bought 🙂
