I was only a child but this scene really shocked me. I'd never witnessed deep, encompassing grief like this. Unfortunately, i'd experience my fair share later like most people.

I have never ever seen any actor or actress cry with such realism. First time I saw this movie I started to cry with her.

This scene just cuts me to shreds. The monologue...the exact words that were scripted and how they were so well acted. Just a superb performance. I'm just sobbing now. This will be me when my husband dies. I just know it,.

Remember seeing the great Fungo around CBD busking, he was bloody hilarious and glad he made it to Ray Martin’s Mjdday show. Then he disappeared?! Where are you Fungo… come back!?! Anyone know what happened to him?

Thanks for the comments, Dora. Paul's performing career was cut short by a car accident that damaged his knee. I will pass on your very kind remarks to him. I'm sure he will greatly appreciate them. It's wonderful to be remembered and acknowledged all these years later.

So many people talk about Alan Rickman in relation to this film and I get that, but Juliet Stevenson? Some of the finest acting I have ever seen in this role. Heart-rending. 💔
