I have a question 🤔. Are you using a cat brush? I just finished sewing a new nose, eyes and re stuffed the exact same bunny you have. Previously reattached two limbs. I would appreciate clarification on the brush your using before I do something I cannot repair
@thewolfsdenDIY3 ай бұрын
Yes, this particular brush happens to be a dog deshedding brush. You want to use a wire brush with a similar bristle style to fluff the fur. If you use a deshedding brush be mindful not to rip out any of the fur fibers on your stuffy. Hope this helps!

I am no expert on a desired diet for chickens, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I was taught that meal worms are more of a treat, not a meal

What do you think would happen if I didn’t include the lining fabric? I’d like the dress to be as light weight as possible. (This is my first time sewing with a pattern so I don’t know what I’m doing haha)
@thewolfsdenDIY4 ай бұрын
No lining, no problem. Just be sure that your fabrics aren’t see through and comfortable to wear. A lining would provide better coverage for shear fabrics and comfort to itchy fabrics. If you choose not to line your piece make sure you finish all of your seams with either a serger, zigzag stitch, or hem. Do not leave any raw seams exposed. This will prevent fraying with wear and washing. You could also use “Fray Check” products to prevent fraying
@aleahkamerman46884 ай бұрын
@@thewolfsdenDIY excellent! This is exactly the response I was hoping for. My fabric is a thicker patterned cotton, so not see through. And I’ll make sure to zig zag the edges. Thanks so much!

How can transfer my pattern to cardboard
@thewolfsdenDIY5 ай бұрын
To do that I would cut the pattern out of the original tissue paper and copy it over onto your cardboard. If you are a crafty person you could glue the pattern onto the cardboard and then apply a sealer such as “ModPodge” to protect it

Wow - this is so risky, especially for beginners (which I still class myself as). I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS trace the pattern as I make different sizes of ths same pattern which you can't do with your message.
@thewolfsdenDIY5 ай бұрын
That is correct, and a good practice. This is just my preference as I usually only use one size, if not I make the appropriate adjustments based on measurements and fitting the garment to a manikin or the person

So I just had the thought you could do the hood with the fabric on the outside and the towel inside to hide the ugly seam. It would disappear, and you would have the clean seam on both sides! It would be super easy to do and look better too.

Your video was excellent! I appreciated how you spoke all of your exact instructions with details such as placing the fabric on the right or wrong sides and the towel wrong side or right side, it was quick for me to understand. All the other videos were okay but they did it so quick it & camera didn’t show details like yours so it kept taking me longer because they weren’t showing details. I was wasting time more time because i had to watch them over and over and stopping them so I didnt even bother making any until I could fully understand. You set up your camera so we could see very clearly as well as clear simple instructions. It took me only a couple times to watch, skipping past embroidery which I wish I had. And your music wasnt annoying nor loud and i could hear you well. I like it when people dont have music in background very much during tutorials. Thank you for a Great job making it! ❤ I whipped up a couple in a very short time and they look fantastic! Take care. ❤😊
