So, if I use the LC7i just like you did, I don't need the PAC AMP Pro AP4CH1 like everyone on the 5th Gen forum is using? And I'm not sure why I others use both. I have a 2019 RAM 1500 with the base stereo as well. I am confused if I need the PAC AMP Pro AP4-CH1 and the LC7i so I don't lose anything or if the LC7i will be good enough alone. I already got the aftermarket ANC bypass. Did you lose alerts or useability in anything? Aside from ANC.

So you only ran two rca outputs from the lc7 to the amp? To be able to adjust them and wires the sub from the amp only correct? Dont need a separate channel rca for the sub? If so, could i get away with an lc2i instead ?
@WaterFowler41
@WaterFowler41 2 күн бұрын
If you ONLY want to do a subwoofer, yes an LC2 will do the trick. I ran the 4 signals into the LC7 to sum them (add highs and lows together) then ran those signals into the amps so each channel receives a FULL signal. The 5 channel amp has a filter channel so I fed my subwoofer with that signal. If you use just the lc2, you will splice into the two front channels not completely cut the wire and feed them into the lc2, then send that signal into the amp for your sub.

Nice video. Glad we could help you get squared away! For those curious... when you order the fog kit we'll provide the correct harness for your lights. Waterfowler 41 already had lights he was using which is why he had to change out the pins on his wires. BUT when you order our complete kit, we give you the right harnesses for the lights. Also, the bag of wires, that's our upfitter extension kit. That's not required and is an optional component. On the Raptors Ford makes the wires a bit short so this extends them which makes adding accessories later REALLY EASY!

Could you clarify if this pipe is intended solely for the factory location intercooler, or if it can also be compatible with the Cobb FMIC?

It works with my Titan V2 FM intercooler which uses the same pipe locations as factory. I believe the COBB FMIC also uses the same pipe locations so by proxy, I would say, yes these will work for other FMICs that can be used with the factory Hot/Cold pipes.

I can't comment on performance of this alone because I did intercooler, turbo Inlets, lower temp thermostat and down pipes all at the same time. What about fluid retention for like spilled drinks or something? That is my biggest concern going to these over weather tech. The grommets for the posts have holes in the tops that fluid could run down in and the mats themselves seemed to drop off, like in the front of the rear seat mats and at the doors, which would let fluid run off the mat into the vehicle. Have you tested the fluid retention or had any spills to see how that works yet?
@WaterFowler41
@WaterFowler41 16 күн бұрын
Weathertechs are not completely sealed (no liners are), if there's enough fluid, some will still get around the post clips into the floor beneath. Liners will significantly reduce the likelihood of this but again, they aren't hermetically sealed to the floor... That said, if you spill a huge drink, I am not sure why you would continue to drive the vehicle and not at minimum remove the floor liner, pour out contents, and wipe up any spillage that made its way to the carpet.

@@WaterFowler41 I get they don't come with IP68 crets, and i'm not trying to keep goldfish in my floorboard.
