Carol Burnett has always been my favorite comedienne. Always kept it classy. A beautiful tribute to a beautiful individual. I could feel the eyes welling up for her.

So glad Lucy received this honour! Unfortunately Desi who showed others how to do television wasn't given such an honour. It will always be Lucy and Desi!

When the show had a budget!!!!!.... Cher's tribute this year was so pulled in...Lauper and Lambert was it!!? This show used to be lots of surprise walk on stars to sing or whatever....blowing the honoree away.. like this.. perfect tribute to Carol.

Unfortunately when during Judy Garland's time there was no Kennedy Center Honors. It was not established until the 70s & they don't give them posthumously. But it would have been great.
