any experience with low light and 0 gps (indoor)? thanks!! did you see the red alert in normal mode anytime? no gps fly with caution, and no vision
@OutdoorLust2 ай бұрын
For low light indoor without GPS I would only recommend manual flying. Because the automatic position system runs into problems

Would you say avata is suitable for roof inspection and hunting mushrooms in the forest? ☺️
@OutdoorLust2 ай бұрын
Roof inspection, yes. Mushroom hunt, no. I can't even see the mushrooms standing close sometimes. With the goggle it's impossible

Hey, you are right, I didn't fly in last time and I feel bad for not posting. But it's mostly because I don't have access to this area and the regulations where I live are really annoying or I don't want to annoy other people with the noise. The avata is really loud. So I have been at so many places that had amazing landscape to fly, but ended up not flying there. Sorry for no new content, but I am working on something at the moment. Not really sure if you all like it but time will tell. Hope you still liked the this video 👍

Great video! That is encouraging! How many hours in the simulator between the "before" and "after"?
@OutdoorLust10 ай бұрын
I think after 10hours in the simulator I was trying to fly manual the first time for real outdoor. But when I did this video I had about 30h in the simulator and maybe 2-3h real manual

@@OutdoorLust I spent a lot of hours in the DJI Virtual Flight app already, but weather is really windy past week, so I have not gone outside yet. I found that I feel comfortable with the Advanced settings numbers and 15 degrees camera angle. I guess I must set same for the drone. What did you set yourself for that video?

Thank you for your kind words. But sadly I don't fly much more. Not because I am not at great locations but the avata is just so loud and at the most good spots flying is not permitted. It's a great drone and makes really fun but it's way to loud for not annoying everyone around you if you are not completely remote

Wie schnell kann die avata ohne satellitenempfang indoor fliegen?
@OutdoorLust Жыл бұрын
@cavityboards Жыл бұрын
@@OutdoorLust schade mit dem motion Controller müsste ichs wissen😅 mir würde gesagt der würde dann nur 25 oder so schaffen ohne satellit

Hello, Did you have a setellite signal there? I heard the avata can not fly faster than in the lowest mode indoor if there's no satellite signal, is that true?

Wow, perfect riding, congrats! One question: I noticed that there were always satellites helping the GPS and avoiding going into VPS mode, is this because I was flying in manual mode? It always happens to me that I lose all the satellites when I fly indoors, then the drone goes into VPS mode and ends up losing control easily, but I'm using the normal mode and training the manual mode.

The simulator will save so much time when you're new. You can learn the extremes again and again with no risk to hardware or wait times charging up again. Great flying man!
@OutdoorLust Жыл бұрын
Hmm kind of, but not really. I found out that the physic of the dji simulator are not realistic, the avata in the sim is way to powerful. So if you fly for real and try a dive you cannot trust your simulator expierence as the real avata doesnt recover so quickly. It gives you a good starting feeling, but nothing gets close to real flying.
@jaybomb5022 Жыл бұрын
@ZippAce Solid point, I have 2 DJI FPV drones and the Sim was pretty close to reality. My first manual mode flight was a breeze, felt just like I had practiced. Even with the power being off, learning how to maneuver is very valuable to a noob.
@tienduy12345 Жыл бұрын
@@jaybomb5022 Yeah me too, flying in the sim with Avata model for 3-4 days, learn some simple trick, and my first real flight in M mode was pretty easy, but to be honest, doing tricks in real life is far different from the sim, the Avata drops quicker, throttle is not as response, the quad vibrate make you feel not as confident as in the game.
@jaybomb5022 Жыл бұрын
@Tien Duy Nguyen Interesting, the DJI FPV has much more power and flies predictably compared to the smaller avata. Liftoff is another great simulator if you're interested. Regardless, if you're flying manual for the first time it's better to get a feel for it in a Sim. Not risking almost 1000$ worth of replacement drone. I mastered the Sim and now I fly the real drone like a maniac lol.
@tienduy12345 Жыл бұрын
@@jaybomb5022 yeah, master the sim was really helful, i had about 40 hours in Liftoff with workshop Avata model, but in real life i wouldn't dare to try any trick like split S dive..., the drone drop too quick and harder to control, so i guess i have to build a freestyle drone soon 😅
