Great stuff. I love when guitarists move up the fretboard instead of across strings, really helps with familiarizing yourself during improvs.

Does the top string go lower than a low E here? Is this a type of bass I don’t know about?

I really liked this lesson. I end up playing with the box brain mindset quite a bit, especially with scales that are new to me. Im going to start trying this today. While I really respect the old school idea that "professionals know the best notes are in the first position", I think there's a lot of very cool variations to be had playing along the instead of just up and down.
