Your chinglish is bery good but do you not know that its rude to have such a large teapot for gong fu cha?

Honestly, what kind of world do we live in where it seems necessary to make a video about such self-evident things? (Perhaps with the exception of the finger gestures) 🤔😏😉

We call it Xiao Qing Gan,this is my home town specialty. This citrus was used as a royal tribute more than 1,000 years ago. Only the citrus produced in Xinhui has a particularly good lung-moistening effect. Thank you for your introduction.

Chinese people are used to serving tea to guests and have formed a corresponding tea etiquette. For example, when inviting a guest to drink tea, the cup should be placed on the tray and offered with both hands. The cup should be placed in front of the guest's right hand. When talking and drinking, the guest should be provided with water in time. The guest should be good at "taste", sipping tea slowly and taking small mouthfuls instead of gulping it down.

Hey Emily, Greetings from Shanghai. Love your videos. Recently I was gifted two Celedon Glaze Tea Caddies both with Guihua Jiuqu Hongmei Tuan tea in them. Typically for tea gift packs, they came with nothing more than a name, so your video has helped me discover more about this Jiu Qu Hong Mei tea. Many thanks.

I have a question. When adding new tea leaves to the pot, should you remove the old ones, or simply add more leaves on top of the old leaves???

The finger tapping would be a sign of impatience and disrespect in Europe. Funny how such simple gestures can be perceived so differently.

I just happened across this video, and I realized that, for all the teas that I have tried through the years, I have never tried a chenpi puerh. You were so convincing that I just had to order some for myself, as I love pu-erh and I love various citrus flavors, so I am very excited about trying it, and quite sure I will like it. Thank you for your lovely presence in a lovely, informative video that encourages us to try new things!

No harm trying new things. But the video lack many important information. It is just a trend. The citrus fruit used cannot be considered as ChenPi as it is an unripe fruit. It is the discarded fruits. And usually because the citrus fruit mask the smell of the puer, usually low quality leaves are used. Just some FYI. I have seen many tea sellers in China that would not drink this ChenPi puer, or some call it XiaoQingGan

Hello. Thank you for sharing this video. I have questions though. 1. May I know the reason why did you pour a boiling water into the tea pot and to other pitchers and little bowl? 2. What are those two tiny things in front right side of the video, tiny squash and piglet (I am not sure if that's piglet)? Are those for decorations or it has significant role that those things need to be present during tea ceremony? 3. What is that brush (I don't even know if that is a brush) doing there? What is the purpose of soaking the brush and putting it out from the tray? Thank you in advance for answering my questions.

Hello. I am your new subscriber. This is helpful. I have a question though. Why need to pour water over the little tea pot and to the tiny bowl please? May I know the reason? Thanks in advance.
@이승기-b5r2 жыл бұрын
This is mainly the ceremony of gongboo tea. The reason for using a small teapot of original purpose was reduced size for travel. Later, it became a tradition and was used in the sense of confinement of taste and aroma.

I recieved a lovely pot many months ago,it had tiny spots of mildew!!! I scrubbed it with baking soda. First time,a fail. Second time,hooray!! I now use it for ,among other things,a 199 Gushu Sheng Puer,and it delivers so beautifully. I like to think that it is thanking me for healing it from its mildew misery😊

Thank you for sharing this interesting information. The Chinese tea etiquette has good reminders to respect our elders and to show thanks, respect, and hospitality. These are universal values, but we can see that something simp,e, like drinking tea, can have powerful social.messages and reinforce those values. This is important for every culture.
