Just watched the highlights back on Sky Sports and it was Newcastle with all the big chances as they should have put us away. One can try to blame Bergvall but he's only being told to foolishly play out from the the back like that only to get caught by Newcastle's press. And that was a handball too so that goal shouldn't have counted. It's a crime that Maddison didn't play today, as it looked like we didn't create much, so if he's well, and he didn't play I can guarantee you he's leaving at the end of the season.

They're leaking all sorts of news now like The Dortmund manager turned down the Fernabache job because he has a deal in place with Levy for the Tottenham job. Solanke and Dorrington putting in transfer requests. It does feel like the club is about to collapse. But Levy will get away without a scratch as per usual.

@@PRTVSPURS 100%, agreed, I don't believe a word that comes out of this club until I see the new player or manager on Sky News holding the jersey. This club is one PR cesspit of lies with the usual linking us to the top players that never come. More often than not, it's mostly cheap players with potential who are on low wages. And that's what I expect in this January window. It's so furstrating that we'll never see top players come in as long as Levy's here.

Maddison and Son are proving that they're our best players with James on 7 goals and 4 assists and Son on 5 goals having 6 assists. Son just leveled with Anderton's assist record with 68. The problem at our club is that we're not surrounding our best players with top quality. We should have tried to sign Oshimen or Gyokeres and Daniel Levy is responsible once more for bringing in a player who doesn't seem to have what it takes to score 20 goals a season. Maddison should be playing with far better than Johnson. Like I'm looking at the top 25 wingers in the world right now and I think some of them are very gettable for us. Mbeumo has 10 goals this seaosn a powerful winger who beats players and scores goals. Edon Zhegrov has 8 goals for Lille in all comps this season. He could provide competition for Johnson on the right. Levy never went for Raphina at the time and he could have got him for 50 million at one stage. He's not got 17 goals in all comps this season.

I think it's clear now that Porro needs to be sold, as he loses the ball far to much. He seems to take a lot of pot shots that end up nowhere. He loses the ball far too much, he cannot defend properly because he's often out of position. And for me he's too short and offers zero presence in defence. I often think he's at fault for making Romero look bad because of his lack of awareness. Spence for me offered far more presence in defence and going forward. He's a big tall strong lad who's got a decent pass on him and he glides past players like Undogie. I can't understand why he hasn't been played all season. For me he's similar to Undogie in hight and build and would make us a stronger team with his presence.

@@sid.preston The way this club is run is very strange mate. It's like the club do their best to make sure we stay at this level all the time. Levy knew we needed top quality signings to get to the next level. He knows we need a strong squad of players to combat in all four competitions. But as usual it was all about cutting the squad wage bill down by buying young players on very low wages. The only reason Solanke was signed is because he's on very low wages on about 90 grand a week. Levy's thinking that he'll keep him on that wage for the next five years. Every season it's the same thing buying average players on low wages who end up being inconsistent. I guarantee you that Levy has ordered Ange to keep playing Gray ahead of Spence even though Spence is more suited to the position he played last night. Levy wants to get Grays value up because he most likely see's him as an 80 to 100 million players to be sold in the future. Spence most likely will find a new club in the summer. There doers seem to be an agenda against him from what I'm seeing. For me, he offered far more than Porro last night, he's a mirror image to Undogie and I like big tall physical defenders with pace. Porro for me has a low IQ, he's very instinctive so he's best when he's not thinking and playing on the spur of the moment. I see him as more of a winger but Ange refuses to try him in that position. My conclusion is that I wouldn't bat an eyelid if he was sold in the morning.

@@PRTVSPURS 100% agreed mate and in reality he just doesn't want to win trophies. He likes it the way it is with this lower squad wage structure as it's cost effective and allows us to take part and collect a substantial amount of money at the end of the season. He doesn't care if we finish top 4, because he hasn't backed one manager anytime we've got into the Champions League. He'll just use that failure to make top four as an excuse to sack whatever manager is in charge at the time. The players he brought in are for the most part, very average to decent players on low wages. If we're compared to the elite clubs you'd never think that we were an supposed elite club. It's up to the fan base to demand a higher standard from these owners or nothing will change until the ownership sell up. For me, I think nothing will change, the hardcore fans base are mostly those who turn up for every away game. It's just look like Ange wants out, he's realized that he can't improve the average players that we've got so he'll take his best payday in his career and exit. I don't see any change as the younger players won't be ready for at least another couple of years and they'll go out on loan in the summer. Either Levy changes the wage structure to bring in top quality readymade players or nothing changes. Our forward line are far to inconsistent, they're not good enough quality wise to perform consistently through a whole season. It doesn't matter what manager comes in, nothing changes until Levy changes the wages model or the ownership changes hands with ambitious owners who want to take us to the next level. Pep would have the same problems here as it would be trying to get blood out of a stone to get these players 4th every season. 550 million in revenue and we're signing average players with low end product. What more do the fan base want? You get what you pay for in this life, and we deserve to be where we are based on the quality that we've brought in. This is the worst forward line that I've seen for years as one winger can beat players but has an allergic reaction anytime he gets near the goal. Johnson can't take on a man and is only good for scoring tap ins by getting into the right areas. Son is looking past his sell - by - date. Our midfield are so inconsistent and our backline can't defend set-pieces properly. There's very little communication in the backline which tells me there's no communication or very little at best. Porror and Undogie can't defend, it's plain to see but they're perfect as wingbacks with 3 full backs to sweep up their messes.

@@jtlondon81 Just wanted to add that Levy got the go ahead to double the amount of concerts that can be held at the stadium for this season. Our fan base are sedated with his constant PR lies. Hopefully Levy will sell to ambitious owners who want to take us to the next level because until this happens, we'll always been the bridesmaids. So in reality, we're stuck in Levy prison until he decides to let set us free. Personally, I think most of the hardcore fans have been pushed out now and replaced by a more wealthier fan that doesn't care about winning things. Good points made on the show and I actually think that Spence isn't being played to much because he's on the way out at the end of the season. Levy doesn't seem to be given Ange orders to play him so his value can shoot up to a good selling price. And Dragusin's value is depleting surely with the lack of game time so he's going to be sending his agent into Daniel Levy for a possible move. Vuskovic is going out on loan against next season to a Championship club from what I've read and It could be the same for Philips. To me, there's just no plan at this club to win anything, it's got nothing to do with the mentality of the players, it's all got to do with the lack of quality that we're failing to bring to the club. And what's worse is that while we were playing Brighton away, Daniel Levy was at the stadium watching the American football game so we know where his heart lays.

He doesn't need top ready made quality to compete? So is he better than the best managers who do need top quality players to win titles and who consistently challenge to win titles? This guy is just a distraction until the next puppet comes in. Any fool could see with the last transfer window past that this guy is just another puppet who's here for a quick payday. This manager hasn't a clue as it was clear that the amount of attacks from Brighton were putting so much pressure on our defence. And it was also clear that Undogie and Porro were struggling. Any manager with a brain would have used Dragusins presence to bolster our defence so we could defend our lead. This defender was one of the best in Serie A at the time we went in for him and now he's being left to rot on the bench. He was exactly what we needed to see out the game. I would have went with Romero, Dragusin and Van de Ven at the back and then Davis for Undogie and Spence for Porro. He then takes of Maddison our main creative outlet and brings on two defensive midfielders when we need a goal to get a point out of the game. If I was the bookies I'd be very suspicious of Ange's strange decisions. Just saying! And what was even more strange is that he waited until the 85th minute to bring on Mikey Moore for Werner who shouldn't be here as he's finished as a top footballer. Ange's comments after the game were an insult to all the fans that paid big money to travel to that game, along with gas, food and beverage money???? Is he looking to get sacked early so he can collect his five million pounds?
