Greg's mechanic is satisfying: the more stuff you haven the stronger you become. Although it can be cumbersome, his ability to vanish half of the items each turn make the item accessibility a bit better. Better, his damage increase also affect poison, dodge attack (from Agility perk), spike and junk jet. Strongest Old Bunny Alive! Don't rely on one perk! Even a full HP thermometer with strength is also stronger. All I want is Power! But I also want a well furnished big deck! 3:04 Greg attack with garbage bag and still get hurt from spike! Oh my, Thank you for this in-depth view with time stamps on what happened XD , honestly I couldn't make up my mind with the magnets and was basically experimenting whole heartedly with the amount of magnets . I think 2 magnetism perk and 1 gold magnets is all you need. I want to eventually be able to utilize minimalism perk to keep gaining strength. would be fun :D. I really appreciate you doing this @zigaudry

You can put same units ( of the same level) on top of each other to level them up, thats why there are orange arrows on top. So u dont need to be alwys destroying stuff

@@TheMechProduction Yes, walls can be mimics, though they are quite rare. Gun you get from a chest or after beating a boss can also be a mimic, though this is even more rare. And there is also a secret mimic boss, which is not too rare, but you won't see him often enough to know his moves.

A lot of things jump to mind with the combat mechanics. 1: It bugs me that ships only have guns to one side. I get it from a Mechanics perspective, but it just bugs me. I probably would have added guns on both sides, and made mechanics for turning the ship around (something which could have taken x amount of time based on Engine or "steering" power), in order to bring more guns to bear, especially if your guns did differently under different circumstances or against different ships 2: Crew should move faster. It makes the crew look indifferent and apathetic, and makes the fights seem superficial and bland instead of suspenseful ... 3: ... I think the mechanics of the guns hitting squares on top of the ship is dumb. If I made the game, I would have each ship have multiple decks, and allow you to cycle through each deck, and each deck having spots for extra guns, storages, and other subsystems, and then have the enemy guns shoot through a random deck section. Then give your gunners options to aim high or low, where aiming low would maybe hit decks below water causing your ship to sink, while aiming high, might hit subsystems stored above water 4: I would defo have a better sinking animation. I know it is beta, but it looked dumb. The animation in FTL of the enemy ship blowing up into pieces is so cool, and think they could have done something similar here, instead of it just fading under the waves. also make animations for the crew dying or frantically thrashing in the water as the ship is engulfed by the waves ... But I think it has a lot of potential, but as it is right now it does not look to hold a candle to FTL, and even though the concept is cool and could have a lot of potential, I don't think this game is for me.

Just thought it would have been a LOT easier to exsplain the things I seem to have confused you on, such as the lower tier chest giving BETTER passive where you thought I meant it tends to give MORE passives, the chests the each floor are always 50/50 if it's a gun or an item just the items from mid tier chests tend to be hp ups which is very bad compared to other passives.
