I’m a mess of tears and smiles right now. This song fits so well with all of the clips. And the extended version , love it. Never heard it before. Not that I needed reminding but this is just another reminder of why I love and miss Glee so much.. when it first came out, I wasn’t watching. A friend of mine kept telling me about the show and how she thinks I would like it because I was in my school’s choir. Wasn’t a show choir like this but we had our Christmas and Spring concerts and I’d sing in church (catholic school, so I’d get to do the songs at mass). I had solos, and my friend said I was the less diva like version of Rachel Berry. Lol. I forget where I started watching it but as soon as I did, I was caught up so quickly and finished the remaining seasons with everyone else. I am a soon to be 48-year-old gleek and I am proud of it….. all of the scenes are great, but can I just say I love Emmas face when Teri and Will hug LMAO

It made a major contribution to full acceptance of the LBGTQ community here in the states, by normalizing same sex relationships and bringing them directly into the homes of Americans which in turn led to a little easier time for queer youth. I truly believe it saved lives.
