Honestly I’ll never forgive the person who wanted to put levels into ac games. Like I love rpgs. But wtf happened to ac games? I just play for the story usually. and I hate most of the new mechanics these last few years. But the levels has just put me off entirely. 😂 It’s so sad.

This is why I hate smoke bombs in AC games. They are brokenly overpowered and breaks the gameplay. And equally as unrealistic, just look up modern smoke bombs.

Ya know, smoke bombing all over the olace doesn't exactly feel stealthy either though. Although you weren't really seen by any guards, and it was very quick and efficient! Always love to see people actually being able to be good at the game in more than just bashing through everything. The newer games seem to just love their battles...

Modding instant assassinations into the newer games is the only way I could play them. Never touch the beauty that Unity has tho, multiplayer, a good story. Truly a gem.

You should. There's been a big mod that fixes all sorts of issues. What do you gain by pursuing some sort of "purity" that the devs themselves will throw away with a single patch? Make your games your own.

I bought the game way back in 2015, but as you remember it was massively broken at launch. I was heading to college around that time and it was unplayable, so I just put it down (around the time you're leaving the bastille) and, somehow, never actually got around to playing it lol. In the 9 years since then, I played Origins, and Odyssey. I also went back and played some I had missed, like AC 2 and Revelations. Finally, in 2024, I saw a video and had the strange urge to actually go back and finish Unity. And it turned out to be probably one of the best titles in the series. The definitive AC game. Nothing they made after even came close And I'm glad I waited 10 years, to truly appreciate how good it was. Tried Syndicate immediately after, since the two came out close together, but while Syndicate is similar, it doesn't even come close lol

that's my biggest complaint about the newer AC. enemies have life bars. no longer can you assassinate your target

Yes, so they can put different levels in and sell you level up items in the cash shop, either you grind your way up or pay for it... cashgrab, thats why i stopped playing origins and never even started odyssey and vahalla... shadows is just a woke mess as well, so yeah.. no thx

@trentwise3762 in valhalla you can disable health bars and use one hit Assassinations no matter the level , still doesn't feel as good as unity tho.

@@zintxh there have been female models in AC games dating back to 2012. They just didn't bother in Unity, even though modders straight up took the skeletons from brotherhood and re-framed them to work on Unity's engine.

I will be honest.. I didn't know why you use smoke at the end. Then you should have activated your eagle vision after the fight, and at the beginning you should have only used one ghost blade, because the last person you killed with the ghost blade you could have killed by sprinting.
