For my money the best monster mash type media is Penny Dreadful. Yes its three seasons, but it actually weaves all of the monsters together in a narrative that is compelling.

Yes, there's a better source about House of Frankenstein than the movie itself. House of Frankenstein, the movie, can be used to detail the plot. It can't be used for discussions of theme, influence, whether it belongs in the article, etc. Someone else has to be saying those things.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'd like to offer you the same respect. The "Disney Princesses" line didn't exist until the early 2000s, yet the majority of their films came out before the line ever existed. The creators of the article recognize everything from 1937's Snow White to 1998's Mulan as not just significant aspects of the article, but essential to the article even existing in the first place. Do you really believe that third-party sources are better at establishing whether a Disney-endorsed lineup of its own characters ought to include the films that franchise is about? Are Disney themselves not a strong enough source on what belongs in their own franchise? The Universal Monsters are in an identical place. The difference there is that nobody like "A" has gatekept and sealioned the Disney Princess page into oblivion.

I watched it when it came out. I was 19 years old and grew up loving the Universal monster movies. It's no Monster Squad, but it was enjoyable. Not great. But monster fans were greatful for this like a drop of water in a dessert. The cop is played by Adrian Pasdar. Nathan Petrelli in Heros. I just watched a couple clips of the show on KZbin and his voice sounds reasonably normal.

The only Kubricks I haven't seen are his first two that are kind of forgotten about, Lolita, and Eyes Wide Shut. My favorite is between Paths of Glory and Barry Lyndon.

Wow, we have radically different tastes. Cat in the Canary was a pleasant surprise. Barry Lyndon was pointless. Man Who Laughs is tough to get through, but the pain Veidt communicates is amazing, and it's an obvious minor classic. Just goes to show.

The scene with Speed and Royalton in his office, isn’t just exposition for the sake of it. Speed is telling Royalton his philosophy about what racing means to him and his family, and Royalton hears this, and basically ‘goes aww that’s cute, now let me tell you what actually happens’. Royalton is intentionally trying to break Speed’s view of racing, hence the history lesson.

There are probably millions of subscription-based things nowadays, so just get a 1-month subscription to all of them and leave anything remaining to charity. It would be difficult to sign up for all of those subscriptions, but you could just hire a ton of people, rent LAN centers for them to work in, and advertise the job opportunity. It also couldn't hurt to be inefficient with the logistics by renting everything including helicopters, planes, and yachts.
