J'aime beaucoup Alain Delon.

René Clément who made Purple Noon wanted A.Delon for the role of the one mudered by Ripley. A.D. aged 25 refused saying "Ripley or nothing". Clément and production were so shocked calling him names "arrogant idiot..." A.D. thought " it's over better to find an another film to do" then, with a russian accent they all heard Clement's wife saying" the kid is right!" So damn right!

It seems that fellow artists often ask better questions and listen more actively than pro journalists. This interview just flows. Even in conversation-style interviews, journalists tend to seem half-present, rushing to get in all their pre-determined questions in a kind of supermarket sweep.

Alain Delon was a hard man who had a tough childhood and literally rubbed shoulders with the criminal underworld before and after he became famous. The interviewer knew that Alain could handle it. Alain was *not* a sensitive man at all.

@@lucasgrey9794 it doesn't matter what kind of a person Delon was. The interviewer asks crazy questions, talks about illness and death half of the interview, shows Delon's pictures when he was unconscious picked up by ambulance. He didn't use his time at all to ask such a famous actor many things about his career and life that would interest us as a public. Only sickness, old age, death and politics. Extremely bad journalist or whatever this guy is
