The wood line in the back was because I was expecting the castle drop and didn't want to take wood right next to my main gold and get pushed off both at the same time. Also I don't think my scouting was great, I assumed there would be a much thicker wood line back there :D

Great video, one question though. Any time I get seige pushed and my mangonel goes under the tc it just gets destroyed. While you were moving in and under his shot and it barely hit you! Am I just unlucky or does MrSlow know a thing I don't??

The player in game 1 did Sitaux's Khmer easy build. The tower is indeed a "mistake" but the point of this build is to be 100% safe to force an FC. I believe you can reach at 13:35 with this build, so yes red was late which means no all-in scorpions + knights

Nice bro, very useful! 1400 elo here. I've lost several times this same matchup. I always choose gbeto+ heavy camel vs halab+paladin but i run out of gold very quick and enemy just crush me with unit spam.

I played an 1 hour 45 minute game few days ago, 2v2 arabia, I got crushed but my team mate crushed the other guy, so I moved to the other guy and he moved to me and we basically traded the base. Huuuge rollercoaster game. Eventually they ran out of wood and gg 😂

Actually you dont need to be furious about this because the main reason you lost was because you didnt know how strong your mamelukes where against his composition. If you knew you would clean him up way more easy and that plus the raids would be a certain victory for you. So not even a hard thing to learn just the confidence of taking fights with a winning composition and priotising making the right units

Red didn't know Skirms no longer counter Mamelukes. The ONLY explanation for this. 11

I need to analyze my last few losses. I've been MAA rushing for a while and my elo was steadily improving from mid-800s to mid-900s. I had a wildly successful tower rush, but since then, I've lost every single game, four in a row, attempting this. I think I'm just too slow hitting the enemy lately. I need to be going sooner. That said, I've never had someone call the GG that fast!

Here are the main takeaways I gathered from the video: - should have archery range follow up on feudal - didnt have market to use civs advantage and go up faster - never built stone walls to stop raids keeping economy advantage - waaaay too slow in imp not using resources properly (I really do lack the experience on imp wars) - never got elite mamelukes even having 5k gold and was afraid of using them against skirms - missing handcart the whole game It's impressive how many improvements you managed to point out that go unnoticed in the heat of the match.

This is a reason why casual players should not play random as the pros, you don’t have the time to properly play 40 civs
