Tuve la suerte de conocerlos a fines de los 60, entonces con mi hermano íbamos a verlos ensayar en una casa grande y antigua ubicada en Amunategui esquina Alameda. En sus descansos tomábamos sus instrumentos e intentabamos algo de The Shadows 😂

why is yt unearthing this ghostly tune I played on repeat during a chapter of my life so long ago it feels like a chapter in a book in an entirely different universe compared to the world I live in now...and recommending it to me? Yt straight up performing multi-verse necromancy with this one. At least the sting of sorrow in the song does not devastate me the way it used to. It's nice to be able to just enjoy it and sing along without the worst memories of my life playing on loop in my mind. I didn't think I would like being 40, but the perspective it's taught me how to cultivate has brought me more peace of mind than I could have imagined. Shit is weird. Shit is wild.

Here's a version with regular tuning. Tune down to D to match this song. Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I know how to hear and find chords but I don't always know the proper terminology. What I do know is that this song was so much fun to figure out and the chords are fun to play. ------- G/G2 refers to alternating back and forth between a G chord and an open G chord, which is a G chord with your index finger pulled off. Am/A2 refers to alternating back and forth between an Am and an A sus2 (so Google says), which is an Am chord with your index finger pulled off. Bb/B2 refers to alternating back and forth between Bb and an a Bb with your middle finger pulled off. Alternate back and forth between G/G2 and Am/A2 and Bm/B2 when appropriate to match the song.
