You can’t beat a live bait. Great fishing. I always put my frozen mackerel for chop in the water for 10 minutes to defrost a bit. Helps get all the juices running as soon as you chuck it in. Makes it easier to chop up. A pair of bait scissors help when your hands are cold as well. Looking forward to part 2 🤟🏻

Hi Luke I really enjoyed that from the start, the nice sound of the water rippling and the bird sounds That last fish almost done you like a kipper!! Jumping out of the net! It’s funny how the last two fish didn’t take your fly at first but it seemed that after you cast a bit further back along the trees (which was good casting by the way) the trout seemed to have a longer look at your fly and then they took it, like you say “fussy buggers!!” A great days fishing for you though both you and Kyle. Really nice to watch. And the markings on that last fish, that was special. Stay safe.

Thanks for watching and commenting again bud and happy new year 🍻 yeah the last two fish it’s a slow glide and if you drift Isn’t perfect they have to much time to see your fly and won’t eat the wind was a lot worse than it looked on there which made it more difficult but had them in the end 😜👌🏻

Hi Luke, what a brilliant video man! I was cheering you on every step of the way. I live in Canada but just spent 8 years in England and never got a chance to fish the rivers like I do here. I would love to know what river you are fishing, but even a close by town would be sufficient so if I am ever in the area again I have a region to target. I retired when I came back to Canada and started doing fishing videos this year as a hobby. (Not an income). I just subscribed and will be watching more of your videos. Take care and all the best in 2025.

Hey, hello, you're a great fisherman. You have to be careful, wet banks are dangerous and slippery. I once fell into 1.5 m of water with a grass carp and a rod. It's not pleasant, but water and mud are part of fishing, good luck
@relaxingtone5117Ай бұрын
Your rod have great fast action, very nice video. I catch carp on the fly, I have an AFTMA 8 rod and the same Hardy reel, a leader max 70 cm, FCarbon 0.25 mm and get tired quickly. And immediately into the landing net, I use from our manufacturer from the Czech Republic, FENCL they are strong, metal, foldable, in various lengths and have a deep net. Very nice videos, good luck, make another video, how you have assembled the assembly from floating line to fly, Thanks M.
